Embarking on a trip to Baia degli Infreschi is a beautiful experience. In the words of Kate Chopin, ‘The voice of the sea speaks to the soul’. Among the most scenic beaches in Cilento, Baia degli Infreschi in Marina di Camerota holds a special place, having been acclaimed as the most beautiful in Italy by Legambiente for multiple years. The beach, accessible by sea or a lengthy hike, is a naturally carved rocky cliff boasting a crystal clear sea with breath-taking hues. A trip to Baia degli Infreschi is simply unmissable for those vacationing between Palinuro and Marina di Camerota. Boat trips along the Infreschi coast reveal awe-inspiring caves and coves, each with its unique name and story which will be shared by the seafarers. Baia Infreschi, a natural harbor known for its cool spring waters, was initially named Anphorisca in Roman times due to clay extraction used in crafting clay artifacts. It went through several name changes finally settling on Infreschi in the seventeenth century. The location is also known as Ancient Pixus. In the year 600, it came under the ownership of the Marquis of Camerota who added an olive mill, storage, and a tavern. Notable landmarks include the Torre del Frontone and the small chapel of S.Lazzaro.

Rare and protected wonder - We are in a protected marine park, reachable by boat or with a path marked by the CAI, simply wonderful. Certainly not to go to the beach, which is small and unfortunately crowded, but to swim among the rocks and inside the caves in perfect solitude

Spectacular sea. - Beautiful cove. Accessible from a path surrounded by nature to be explored on foot or by boat departing from the port of Marina di Camerota. We recommend the “la Rosa dei Venti” cooperative for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful - It is an experience to do if you are in a small village in Marina di Camerota. You have the opportunity to see the various coves and two beautiful beaches and then choose where to go down to get wet. I highly recommend it

Nice bathroom - Beautiful beach but without refreshment, you can only get there by boat or by walking which is not at all pleasant in the heat.

A peaceful holiday - The structure is very nice, the rooms are clean and the green spaces are very nice. It is not very close to the sea so we used the pool in the morning and went to the sea in the afternoon. On the other hand, it is close to the town and walking in the evening is always very pleasant.

Wild tourism - Very small beach full of tourists, boats that suddenly find themselves on you while standing a meter from the shore to let down other hordes of bathers. Nature spoiled by wild tourism. You should limit the number of tourists per day to preserve this little piece of paradise.
