The meeting point is at 8:30 am by the water fountain located in the center of Cusco’s Plaza de Armas.
Participants will embark on a 1-hour journey to the village of Chinchero, where they will visit a textile shop to observe the wool dyeing process. Following this, they will explore the archaeological site of Moray, known for its circular terraced fields resembling a Roman amphitheater. This site served as an agricultural laboratory for the Incas.
Maras is renowned for its salt terraces situated on a hillside. These geometrically arranged salt ponds yield a unique type of mineral-rich salt with a distinct flavor.
