Experience an exhilarating day hike from Moshi or Arusha with the Kilimanjaro Marangu day hike. This trek takes you up to the first camp, Mandara Hut (2720m), and returns via the same path on the same day. The journey begins with a 45km drive from Moshi town, lasting about an hour. Upon arrival at Marangu Gate, registration and payment of the park entrance fee are required to obtain a valid hiking permit. Marangu Gate is situated at 1879m above sea level, and the distance to Mandara Hut is 8km (16 km round trip), taking approximately 3 to 4 hours each way. Revel in the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Rainforest
As you travel from Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut, you will traverse a lush rainforest, teeming with diverse plant species. With some luck, you might spot Blue Monkeys and black and white Colobus Monkeys.
Maundi Crater
A short 15-minute walk from Mandara leads to Maundi Crater, offering spectacular views of the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks.

Perfect and big experience - Very professional day trip safari in Tarangire national park with dancing Simba safari we were 6paxs in safari Jeep with open top up roof for photography and windows to every seat our guide fresh was very professional he knows many thing we saw a lot of elephants🐘🐘 giraffe pumba Lion and many others I recommend this company tour amazing
