A must-do for a Ferrari... - A must-do for a Ferrari fan! The legacy of the place is unmatched, fast cars and slow life is so apt.

April 25' Ferrari Maranello & Modena Museum visits - We built our Italy vacation around the Ferrari museums visit. We started our trip in Milan for a few days. We're not big city people and were glad to get out into more rural area. We stayed at nearby Ferrari themed Village hotel (separate review) which was handy. We bought the combo ticket self-guided tour from home. We picked the earliest time they had around 9 and parked our car in main lot. We didn't realize that there was a parking charge. No ticket, so did fine. My husband is a big fan of cars overall and we have some experience with Ferraris. I like cars too & we enjoyed both museums. Modena was Ferrari's birthplace so setup was different. We spent 2 -3 hours at each place and glad we saw both. My husband did the simulator at 1st museum but it did leave him a bit nausesous. The cars are beautiful no doubt and a lot of good information. It was definitely the hightlight of my husband's trip and I enjoyed too. Maranello has many nearby restaurants and good places to drive on back picturesque roads. We spent 5 nights in area and went to Ducati museum too. There are the other car musueams but didn't take the time. We also went to nearby family run balsamic vinegar farm which we enjoyed. Recommend a visit to area for car fans

Bucket list - This was a great experience and I'm not even that big a fan of Ferrari vs. my husband who IS. Lots of bucket list stuff crossed off this trip!

Visit both museums! - We bought the combined ticket Maranello and Modena. The museum in Maranello is much more extensive, current street models and racing cars are on display. In Modena you can see “custom” vehicles and an impressive film about Ferrari’s history. In combination, you don't miss a thing.

Fun experience - Not easy to travel to and from if not staying in maranello. Museum is well done and there is a cafe and store.

Not all the gold, it's what sparkles - It is one of the best trips that and I never take, spectacular in everything, the luxury is incredible, the wonderful hotel, the fantastic food, and the perfect service, I would highlight that what I liked least was the car rental, because you have to leave more on deposit, than the trip costs you and that does not come anywhere.

Average car museum - Basic museum, few cars and a gift shop. Nothing special about the museum. No special cars like concept cars or to see something out of the ordinary

It was ok. - Neither me, my husband or our kids (8 & 11) are into cars much BUT I have to admit there is something sexy about Ferrari whether you're a fan or not. The museum was fine. We've spent approximately 30 mins inside. Parking is absolutely horrendous so be prepared.

Go if you're a Ferrari fan - If you're a Ferrari fan, go to this museum to see cars from the past 50+ years. Took 2 stars off because there's no audio guide to explain the exhibits (and most signs are in Italian only) so attendees simply just look at cars.
