Very interesting tour with great insights and discoveries - Great experience with amazing insights into Maputo's and Mozambique's history and culture. The guide, Nelton, was great, telling us stories, answering questions, asking his own. It felt like a mutual learning experience. Very interesting tour covering places in Maputo we would not have visited on our own.

Great experience in Maputo - I was surprised to arrive at the meeting point and find out that I would do the tour alone. But the guide Nelton did not mind guiding just one person and was extremely professional throughout the tour, bringing a lot of interesting information about the points visited. I could try the delicious massal fruit in the central market and see the fruity bats in the Tunduru gardens. It was all very cool despite the extreme heat of the day. I highly recommend.

Fascinating and fun to see how this Portuguese colony evolved into war, and now democracy - My best experience in Mozambique. Wilson is knowledgeable friendly and speaks good English. Mozambique is a very unique country with a very troubled past. On this walking tour were included the cathedral, central square, botanical garden, train station, iron house, and the fortress. All were explained by Wilson their place in mozambiques story.

A brilliant way to see Maputo and gain a better understanding of the city & Mozambique. - This is well worth doing if you are visiting Maputo. Nelton, our guide, was an encyclopaedia of Mozambique & Maputo history, culture & politics and could handle any questions we asked him. We overran by 30 minutes, which he was completely relaxed about. One of the highlights was walking through the huge fruit & veg market where we sampled some of the exotic fruits, including a monkey orange, which we’d never tasted before & is delicious. If, like us, you’ve never been to Mozambique before and only know what you know from general knowledge & a guide book, this was a great way of gaining a better understanding of the country.

Excellent tour! - I was traveling through Maputo for work and found myself with a Saturday off and looking to explore the city some and this was perfect. I booked last minute (the night before), and they were able to accommodate me for a tour at 9 am the next morning for what ended up being a solo tour. My guide, Nelton, was excellent and informative. Giving a great overview of each site and the history behind it. He was also very helpful in suggesting restaurants and other things to do while in Maputo and other spots nearby. The tour is a legitimate 3 hours, and you probably end up walking ~2 miles, so I do recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothes for the walk and the weather that day. Overall, I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get to know Maputo!
