Then we descend through the mysterious cloud forest, full of beautiful orchids, heliconias and primitive ferns. We stop to give you the opportunity to witness the rooster of the rocks (RupÃcola peruviana) in the mating ritual. There are also possibilities to observe trogons (Trogon sp.) And many other bird species. If we are lucky we will find the only bear in South America, the spectacled bear (Tremarctos ornatus). PILCOPATA – ATALAYA - PAITITI
Manu National Park - Después de nuestro desayuno, continuamos en nuestro autobús y haremos una caminata donde podemos observar muchas aves. En el trayecto también visitaremos plantaciones de hoja de coca. Para luego llegar al puerto de Atalaya, donde nos embarcaremos en nuestro bote aprox. 30 minutos hasta nuestro albergue donde pernoctaremos y por la tarde iremos a explorar la selva. Por la noche tendremos caminata nocturna. Noche en albergue con baños y duchas disponibles
PAITITI HOSTEL – COLLPA DE LOROS - COCHA MACHUHUASI
Manu National Park - Muy temprano salimos en bote hasta la collpa de loros. Donde se observa 3 a 4 especies de loros y pequeños guacamayos, luego retornamos en bote hasta Machuhuasi donde tendremos una caminata. Llegando asi a la laguna de Machuhuasi donde tenemos balsas o catamarán para navegar aproximadamente 1 hora observando una gran variedad de aves, monos, reptiles pequeños, caimanes enanos e insectos. En la Tarde retornamos a nuestro albergue para el almuerzo. En la noche tendremos caminatas nocturnas (opcional).
ATALAYA – CUSCO
Cusco - After our delicious breakfast we unfortunately return by boat from the Paititi hostel to the port of Atalaya, where the bus awaits us to return to Cusco, again passing through the mysterious cloud forest bound for the Imperial city of Cusco. Approximate arrival at 6:00 to 7 pm.
