Biking in Manly was a highlight of our trip - The day we visited Manly the town was pretty quiet, so we decided to rent bikes. The team at the bike shop were very friendly, and very thorough. They went over all the components of the bike, helped size the seats and helmets, and shared a phone app to guide our trip. Pro tip: If your phone’s roaming data plan is slow, walk across the street to the visitor’s center at the ferry building and use their free WiFi. Say hello as well—they were super nice. There are several bike routes to choose from. We chose to ride to the North Head park lookout, using hybrid bikes (not e-bikes). The route is up hill all the way, starting with some very steep climbs on residential streets early in the ride, followed by much more gradual rises to the park. We are intermediate riders and were fine on all the route but one very steep section (1 block long) that we walked up. I’d suggest a casual rider should get e-bikes for this route. We rode to the lookout (amazing views), stopped at a cafe in the park for refreshments, and rode back to the bike shop in just under two hours.

A great way to see the wider Manly area - We hired e-bikes and did one of Manly Bikes recommended routes - which was self guided. The staff plotted the route for us in Google maps and it took us to some lovely locations in the Manly area. The e-bikes were great and had phone holders, bottle holders and a small handle bar bag which was about 3 litres in size. Good value for money bike hire.

Excellent Day at Manly - Great day, great bikes and excellent service and guidance from Sebastian at Manly Bike Rentals!! Highly recommend! Only funny occurrence was dropping my cycling helmet into the frothy surf on our way out to view the Manly Worm Hole at the far end of the beach!!

Manly ebikes - What a great way to explore Manly for the day. We caught the ferry from sydney and after some walks decided to find a bike. I was with my nephew and we both had a great time cycling from headland to headland. The ebikes required little pedaling to get going so we didnt even work up a sweat. Only went for an hour which leaves little time to stop and enjoy each spot but we had other things planned. Cheers!

Incredibly fun eBike experience - The bikes were well maintained and worked wonderfully. The more important aspect was the friendluness and helfulness of the staff to provide great routes and help with setting up navigation. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the experience and did NOT treat us just as a customer, but rather a friend.

A quick tour on bikes - Very well managed bike hire… bikes were great. We choose e bikes but the cycle was flat and easy riding.. a lovely way to see Manley but too short … there was so much more to see but our time was limited

Great rides in Manly - Really fun bike ride to the north in one day and down to the spit on the next. The maps are excellent, the bikes in great shape, the staff super friendly. We went for one day and then came back the next two days for different rides.

Ebike exploring - I hired an ebike to explore Manly, following the route options on Kamoot to the Quarantine Station and surrounding area. Impressed with the service, and with the bike. The e bike made this trip fun, and not a chore. Great way to explore areas of Manly that I otherwise would not have visited.
