Korean cooking class - Wonderful experience. The afternoon was immersive and so much more than cooking. Cultural, stories, learning key Korean phrases, visiting a beautiful & authentic market (Mangwon Market). Exceptional, professional and incredibly engaging Sarah (Chongi) was a treat to spend time with. A terrific day, she simplified all cooking into small, fun & meaningful tasks resulting in divine food. Cannot recommend this class highly enough - it was so much fun. She is so energetic, positive and fun. Well travelled and able to engage each of us. Sent us photos of the day soon after leaving and insisted we keep in touch by WhatsApp to get more recipes and advice. TERRIFIC

Tasty and fun! - I highly recommend doing this cooking class. I loved meeting in the market to purchase items for the class and then heading back to her house for the lesson. She was such a good instructor. It was easy to follow all the steps and to learn about the culture and foods at the same time. My teen daughter and I loved it! The food was delicious. As a perk, it was also nice to connect with other travelers. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Amazing Korean Cooking Experience! - This cooking class was an unforgettable highlight of my trip to Seoul! From the very start, the experience was well-organized and immersive. The local market tour was a fantastic way to learn about fresh ingredients and traditional Korean flavors. We tried different delicious Snacks. Our Host was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also warm and engaging, making the cooking process both educational and fun.
The hands-on cooking session was excellent, with clear step-by-step guidance. We prepared a full Korean bibimbap and every dish turned out delicious! It was such a rewarding experience to enjoy!
I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in Korean cuisine, whether you're a beginner or an experienced cook. It's the perfect mix of culture, food, and fun. A must-do in Seoul!

Masisseoyo! - My husband and I wanted an authentic cultural experience while visiting Seoul. Junghee’s Korean Cooking Class was everything we’d hoped for and more! We were visiting Korea on a genealogical quest to connect to his ancestral roots in Masan. His grandmother always cooked wonderful Korean meals for her family so we thought this class would add a meaningful memory to our journey. The class began with a tour of Junghee’s neighborhood street market which was an informative experience in itself! We saw the freshest seafood and produce.
Arriving at her home, Junghee shared so much of her culture with us all as she taught us how to cook an amazing and authentic meal. We learned many cooking tips & techniques. This class would be enjoyed by a novice as well as a more experienced home chef.
Another highlight was the time spent gathered together to enjoy the delicious multi-course meal we’d created.
The title of this review is just one of the many words and phrases we learned. Masisseoyo means “It’s DELICIOUS”!.
I highly recommend this class.

Amazing experience - This was an amazing experience and so glad that I booked it during my vacation in Seoul. Junghee is truly an amazing tour guide and instructor. Loved going through the Mangwon Market and learning new things about Korean foods. We made delicious dishes and I made some new friends during this activity. This is a must if you want to learn how to cook Korean dishes.

Top marks - Excellent experience regardless of experience level. This isn’t some curated tourist trap, this is a local who hosts out of her own home and has vendors smiling and waving as she goes by. Highly recommended.

Amazing, highly recommended - A really super experience. A nice market tour, followed by an excellent cooking class and meal. Jung Hee is an amazing host and fosters such a comfortable and fun ambiance.

Trip highlight, best food we had in Korea - We took Junghee’s cooking class and it was an amazing experience! She has such great energies which made our group connect immediately as we started the tour in the market. The class was super fun, we cooked decisions food in great atmosphere, It was one of the highlights in our trip and probably the best food we had, Highly recommended!

Must do in Seoul! - This cooking class was the highlight of our trip to Seoul! Junghee was such an amazing host. It was great to be in a small group (max 10 people) because the intimate setting made everything so much more personable. She really made an effort to get to know all of us. The market tour beforehand was great - Junghee is extremely knowledgeable and we got to try different kinds of foods. Once we were back at her place, we got to cook 3 different types of Korean food and each one was very hands on and so much fun! Overall, it felt like we all just friends hanging out on a Friday afternoon. Would definitely recommend!!!
