Meeting of Waters - Amazon Lodge
Day 1:
The adventure begins with a pickup in Manaus. The journey proceeds to Ceasa Port, where a speedboat awaits to take you to the first destination along the Rio Negro river, the meeting of the waters. At this remarkable location, the black Rio Negro and the brown Solimões flow side by side without mixing, creating a mesmerizing sight. The next stop is the floating village of Catalão, where you can visit a fish farm and witness the Giant Arapaima Gigas, one of the Amazon’s most formidable creatures.
The journey continues to the Careiro village, followed by an hour-long ride to Maçarico Lake via speedboat. Arrival at the Amazon Peacock Paradise Ecolodge is expected around 11:30 a.m., with a delightful lunch served at noon.
At 3:30 p.m., a canoe trip offers the chance to spot the Amazon Pink River Dolphin and a variety of vibrant birds during the excursion.

Joshua’s Amazon Expeditions will lead you on an Amazon Jungle trip to the Amazon Boto Lodge, located in a region about 110 km in a straight line from Manaus in a very isolated place, where you can relax to the sound of the jungle and explore the region by trekking in a virgin area of rainforest. During this trip, you will have the chance to go fishing, trekking, cayman spotting at night, sunrise, bird watching, and see the magnificent Meeting of the Waters of the Rio Negro and Solimões.
