The journey continues with a 1-hour car ride to the quaint village of Cachoeira do Castanho. From there, a speedboat ride of 20 to 30 minutes (depending on water levels during your visit) takes you to Jacareubau Creek. Here, you can enjoy a floating deck experience and interact with the river dolphins. The trip proceeds by boat to the opposite riverbank to visit the Tatuyos indigenous village, where you will participate in a traditional welcome dance and learn about their culture. The journey continues by boat, navigating up the Rio Negro for about an hour to reach the lodge.
Upon arrival at the lodge at 12:30 pm, guests are greeted with refreshments while accommodations are prepared.
