"Totally worth it if you’re in Malmö—such a fun little find!" - "This turned out to be so much more fun than I ever imagined! We spent two amazing hours in this little spot and loved every single minute of it! 😊"

Interesting and Confidence Building - This museum was a bucket list experience for me and it did not disappoint! The exhibition was so interesting that I took photos of every info card to share and reference later. I was initially unsure if I wanted to try everything at the tasting bar - was mostly interested in the Icelandic shark that Anthony Bourdain claimed was the most disgusting thing he’d eaten - but the staff was so encouraging and engaging that I had to give it a shot. I felt so proud of myself when I completed the “challenge” and actually would have gone for seconds on several of the samples!

Exciting experience that takes about 1-1.5h - Fun and exciting experience, fun to read and smell sick food things from around the world, but above all taste was really fun and some things disgusting. But recommend this experience if you are not too picky

Take the “YUCK” challenge! Unusual but fun! - We highly recommend spending an hour or two in this unusual place! We had more fun than we thought we would and learned a lot as well! I appreciated that there were items from all over the world! Lots of fun facts about things we expected to be there like durian and things that surprised us like spam. The sniffing jars were disappointing- everything smelled the same and the smells were faint. We were told they renewed those once a week on Tuesdays… we were there on Monday.
The dare to taste everything without vomiting was too hard to resist! We both did it but the last one was brutal! It was worth it! Have fun!

Beautifully disgusting! :) - Absolutely Amazing And Awesome! I liked the friendly staff that knows their work very well. For the first time in my life I tried a crickle and some bugs but the biggest surprise was simple (too much) salted licorice :) The videos presented were also lovely disgusting :) Also, the Museum is located in a lovely place and after the visit you can go for a perfect stroll!

Fun & factual way to spend an hour or so - Good fun & very informative. Can't believe I completed the chilli challenge ! Staff were friendly & knowledgeable. Ideal way of spending an hour or so, especially if the weather's not so nice

Funny and very memorable - Fun and memorable museum, lots of interesting little bits of info about gross and unusual foods around the world. The best bit is you get to smell or try some of the foods - usually the smell is much worse than the taste, somethings even tasted pretty good! The staff were all really friendly and entertaining as they take you through the tasting, they are all very knowledgeable as they've had to try it all themselves!

Fun museum - Fun and nice staff but a bit boring exhibition :)
Fun to try on the food but think the price was a bit too "unworthwhile".

Fun until it wasn't fun - I think it's important to balance out the plethora of positive reviews with my own experience. I found the museum fun and interesting until I spied a screen in the back corner which featured graphic killing of pets. There is no caution or warning sign about this. A boy of about 8 years old with his father left as the poor kid started bawling. Seeing it for a second was enough to ruin the fun and kill what was otherwise a very entertaining interesting experience.
There's a very big difference between watching suffering viscerally, reading about suffering, and general gross out. The gross out is fine, and even words on a page is fine but I believe the museum would benefit immensely from A) putting those videos somewhere where access comes after confirmation that one is prepared to see these images, and B) putting them somewhere where kids (or adults like myself who deal with dark stuff at work and want to avoid it where they can in their personal lives) cannot see them.
I ended up leaving. Had it not been a feature I would have stayed longer, tasted the foods and probably bought some for a laugh.
Just be warned, this screen and video exists in the back and proceed with that in mind.
