Today marks the start of the Makkah Ziarah tour with a visit to Jabal Al Rahmah, or Mount of Mercy, situated in Arafat. This is the historic location where Prophet Muhammad delivered his final sermon. Pilgrims gather here on the 9th of Dhu’al Hijjah during Hajj, dedicating the day to prayer and supplication. The tour continues with a visit to Mina, the world’s largest tented city, accommodating up to 3 million people. Mina is where pilgrims reside during Hajj and where Prophet Ibrahim was instructed to sacrifice his son Ismail. Following Mina, the tour proceeds to Jabal Al Nour, also known as the Mountain of Light. Located approximately two miles from the Ka’bah, it houses the Cave of Hira, a small cave where Prophet Muhammad received the first revelation of the Holy Quran during Ramadan in 610 CE. This event marked the commencement of his prophethood. The tour will reflect on the spiritual importance of each site before returning to the hotel.
