Excellent short tour - RJ the tour guide and Ronnie our driver gave my Singaporean friends an excellent short tour of Metro Manila. Highlighting places even me as a Filipino doesn’t know. Showed them the uniqueness and beauty of Metro Manila. Definitely a recommended tour. Would have done the longer one if we had the time.

Good overall view of the city with historical connections. - The tour guide Malu and the driver Rod were very friendly welcoming and knowledgeable. The historical information was very informative. I enjoyed the visit to the Cemetery and memorial because it reminded me of the shared past between the United States and the Philippines.

A lovely intro to the local history - The reviewers warning about trafffic clearly have little experience travelling in SE Asia, it is consistent with other countries. Remember, you aren’t stuck in the traffic, you are the traffic. Tour guides were knowledgeable, polite. Transport was clean and air conditioned.

Great private tour to see the emblematic points of the city and old town of Manila and Taal Lake and Volcano - This private tour was perfect to see the most important points of attractions of Manila Old Town and modern city. In the middle of the way we adjusted the tour to include the Taal Lake and Volcano which was an hour and half drive. Totally worth to see the lake scenery and the active volcano from the cliff surrounding the lake. The tour guide was excellent and he was very knowledgeable about the history and main aspects of the places we visited. He made me try the Baku Pie which is a local coconut pie and it was the best pie I have ever tried. Despite I started only with the city tour , I fully recommend to do both the city and volcano+lake visits.

Great tour to experience hidden Manila. - Troy was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. We were on our own in the vehicle so effectively had a private tour. Apparently, July being the start of the typhoon season, sees low demand for this type of tour. Intramuros was thought-provoking given the atrocities committed by the Japanese occupiers in 1941-1945. The American War cemetery was also a sobering place to visit. I have been to Manila many times on business but never had the time to be a tourist. This is a great tour to experience some of the hidden parts of Manila.

Good tour but be prepared for the traffic - The tour guide was knowledgeable and it was good to see the promised locations. Something that is beyond their control is the Manila traffic, which meant that about two thirds of the tour was getting between locations.

Journey back to hotel was longer than the tour. - The information, guide and driver were great however it took longer to return to our hotel than the tour. The tour finished at 4pm and we didn’t get back to our hotel until 7pm. It appeared that we could have been dropped prior to a passenger who was staying close to the airport however they were dropped first adding an hour to our travel time.

Flexibility and consideration are essential - Due to traffic, we didn't have enough time to visit the two original sites. Our tour guide didn't suggest any alternative sightseeing options or show flexibility with the schedule to compensate for the lost time. The guide adhered strictly to the time limits without considering the proper itinerary or potential alternatives.
