Full Day Toraja Tour
Toraja Village - After breakfast at the hotel, spend a full day exploring Toraja Land. Visit the statue of Jesus Christ in Makale, Tana Toraja Regency, the second tallest in the world at 40 meters, standing atop Buntu Burake hill, 1,100 meters above sea level. Continue to Lemo to see the cliff-side stone graves with wooden effigies on the balcony, then proceed to Londa to view coffins hanging from rocky crevices. Lifelike wooden sculptures, complete with clothing, stand in neat rows in cliff face hollows, resembling windows and balconies of a house. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit the traditional wooden carving village at Kete Kesu. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.
Toraja (Rafting Ma’iting River)
Toraja Village - After breakfast, a car will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the starting point. Walk through the stunning scenery of Dende Village for 30 minutes (allow an extra 15 minutes for selfies). A boat will be waiting at the riverside to welcome you. Enjoy rafting for approximately 3 hours and have lunch by the river with a beautiful waterfall view. Then, return to the city and head to Batutumonga. Enjoy afternoon coffee or tea with a beautiful view from above the city. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Minahasa - This type of house is ideal as it is well-suited for earthquakes. Japanese caves, built during World War II by the Japanese, are located between the charming countryside villages of Kawangkoan and Kiawa. These caves were primarily used to store supplies during the war and as defenses against a potential allied invasion, as well as arsenals. Visit Kawangkoan ‘peanuts village’, Pulutan Pottery Village, and Sumoro Endo’s Lake Tondano. Lunch will be served en route at a local restaurant.
Tangkoko National Reserve - Proceed to Tangkoko Nature Reserve. Arrive in Tangkoko in the late afternoon and take a walk into the nature reserve park before dark. Tangkoko National Park is located on the slopes of Mount Dua Saudara, north of Bitung, and a few hours from Manado. The park features rolling hills and valleys with a variety of hardwood trees and unique plant life. The lush green hills and valleys offer exceptionally beautiful views. This ancient rainforest is home to striking fauna and flora, including anoa, black apes, cuscus, hornbills, Tarsius Spectrum (the world’s smallest primate), black tailless monkeys, Maleo Birds, wild pigs, and kuskus (marsupial family). Return to the lodge/homestay for dinner at a local restaurant or hotel.
