Founded in 1875, explore the authenticity of an independent family house whose production secrets have been passed down for 6 generations. The House is run by the Braastad family and runs the estate in a traditional way by being an actor from the vine to the glass. Immerse yourself in the secrets of cognac manufacturing through the different stages of production: history, know-how, distillation. This dive into the heart of cognac will take you to our cellars and introduce you to the art of aging and blending. Finally, after a visit to our cabinet of curiosities, the experience ends with the tasting. We present our iconic cognacs from the 3 reference categories: VS, VSOP, XO to better understand the different facets of cognac. *Tasting reserved for adults.

Excellent - What a fantastic tour. Eric was both fun and knowledgeable. Finally and most important the cognac from this family run house is phenomenal.

Amazing tour - Thanks Eric for a thorough visit where we got the full history and a possibility to enjoy your production facilities. A really knowledgeable tour where (2 persons) all our questions were met with interest and that time wasn’t an issue. Also nice to have to tour in “norsk”. Amazing cognacs and nice to be here since a meeting with Antoine some 13 years ago is the reason for my cognac hobby.

Cognac lovers - visit Braastad distillery! - We had a very interesting guided tour at Braastad distillery. The guide Erik was excellent, knowledgable, passionated and a very nice person. We have visited other companies before but we think this is the best!
One mistake only, we forgot to tip Erik for his good job!
So you guys out there - tip him a bit extra from us! 😉

Exceptional tour of a delightful, establish Cognac house. - Eric was a fantastic host, he was welcoming and genuine. The tour was relaxed, and informative. Not to mention extremely tasty at the end!
The facilities are impressive and the location on a summers day is beautiful.
