Founded in 1875, explore the authenticity of an independent family house whose production secrets have been passed down for 6 generations. The House is run by the Braastad family and runs the estate in a traditional way by being an actor from the vine to the glass. Immerse yourself in the secrets of cognac manufacturing through the different stages of production: history, know-how, distillation. This dive into the heart of cognac will take you to our cellars and introduce you to the art of aging and blending. Finally, after a visit to our cabinet of curiosities, the experience ends with the tasting. REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE!!!! - An exciting visit with a special mention for the distillery and the cabinet of curiosities. I loved this route which is very different and more authentic than the ones I have done around Cognac so far.
Many thanks to Erik for his warm welcome and the many information given during the visit and also during the tasting.

A tasteful and exciting visit! To do! - We were received by Eric who gave us a very interesting and detailed tour of the house Braastad. It was an exciting visit where you can see all the stages of Cognac production, from distillation to bottling. An authentic place, where one is immersed directly in aromas and history.
The final tasting was the icing (or reason) on the cake allowing us to discover part of the range. Waiting to go back we recommend!

Excellent tour - recommend - Excellent informative tour with tastings too. Eric was knowledgeable, friendly and made the tailored to the tour to us. Learnt a great deal about how cognac is produced and then distilled. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you Eric!

An afternoon to remember 🥂 - Really interesting tour of this small-but-perfectly-formed cognac house, in beautiful surroundings. On this out-of-season a friend and I were the only people on the tour, but received a warm reception from the friendly and very knowledgeable Eric (speaking excellent English). The tour ended with a tasting, which went down very well! Highly recommended

Exceptional tour at Braastad Coganc distillery - Excellent tour at Braastad distillery! We very able to visit all cites with a lot of details of the manufacturing explained.
Great tasting at the end. Our guide was the real fan of his job and good professional.
Must visit distillery if you are visiting Cognac region!

Excellent visit to this distillery, a link steeped in history on the edge of Charentes - The Welcome is very friendly, this distillery full of history on the edge of Charentes that celebrates its 150 years is a beautiful place. The explanations , anecdotes of the guide are of very high quality, thank you Eric
We were able to exchange with the cellar master before tasting fine, aromatic cognacs
A visit highly recommended especially on Valentine’s Day

Cognac house that does everything on site - Eric was a wonderful guide. This tour gave you the full experience as it's the only cognac house that does everything on site. Wonderful tour educational and even better cognac!
