Fantastic experience - Thoroughly enjoyed this sea kayak expedition! We saw an eagle and an eagle nest. Also a porpoise up close to our sea kayak plus several other sea birds. Our tour guide Casey (? KC, Kasey) was absolutely amazing. I also rented a e-bike from this same company and did a self guided tour of the carriage roads. 4 hour rental was plenty of time to bike the vast majority of the carriage roads. Overall a fantastic experience with this company. Helpful instructions + excellent equipment = highly recommend.

First trip to Acadia - We enjoy kayaking and when we saw this tour we really wanted to go. The meeting place was just down our driveway and about 100 feet away. We met Sam, our guide, and he filled us in on what to expect while we waited for everyone else to arrive. We had a safety briefing and received our spray skirt and PFD. Then we boarded the van for about a 20 minute ride to where we would enter the water. Sam gave a very thorough explanation again of how to get in and out of the kayak. He checked everyone and pushed us out one by one until everyone was in the water. As we paddled, he pointed out various animals. We got to see two bald eagles, jellyfish, harbor porpoise and harbor seals. When we approached the seal rookery, we spotted some seals jumping out of the water. The next thing we knew they were coming right at us and even hit the lead boat. Sam realized there was a school of fish swimming below us and the seals were hunting. He said in his four years, he has never had that happen. It was great because we were able to get video and the woman that was in the lead kayak actually got the seal when it hit her boat. She was able to share the video with anyone who wanted it when we returned. We also enjoyed our "silent" paddle. Sam pulled us over close to the coast and told us we were going to paddle for three minutes in silence. No talking at all. It was so peaceful just looking in the water and listening to nature around you. We stopped for a beach break about 30 minutes before we finished. It was a nice break where you could have a snack (you bring your own) and water while getting a rest from paddling. Sam was very good about taking what he called "group water breaks" while paddling so we didn't get dehydrated. As we paddled to our take out point, we got to see lots of jellyfish. We all got out of our kayaks and Sam and Jessie (our van driver) loaded everything back up and we headed back to our meeting place. This tour was great. Keep in mind, you are not guaranteed to see anything but there is a pretty good chance you will. I would highly recommend this tour and Sam as a tour guide.

Excellent Kayaking Tour - I went with my family on the guided kayak tour/wildlife safari. Our guide was Sam and he was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and we always felt comfortable asking for help with the kayaking if needed. We saw many different animals and there were very few boats around us which made us feel like the only ones on the water. It was a great experience!

So many seals! - Sam was a great guide for this cool kayak trip! I was nervous because I’ve only ever river kayaked before but the gear was great and Sam made sure we took a route that maximized our ability to see great wildlife and not have to fight the wind or end up in choppy water. If you’re a solo traveler like I was, you’ll likely be paired up with another solo or odd number person. While I was a little nervous about that, it ended up being great meeting someone new! I felt safe the whole time while also feeling accomplished at the end of our 7 mile route. The seals were so cute!

Awesome experience! - My family kayaked for the first time and the experience is some thing we will always remember. Casey was the best guide. He was very knowledgeable and made a new experience even better. On our trip we saw sea birds, eagles (flying overhead ) and even seals bobbing around close to our kayaks. The excursion brought us along the beautiful coastline with stunning views. I would highly recommend this tour.

- Our party of 4 adults had an excellent kayaking experience with Sam as our guide and Ian as our driver. Ian was friendly and funny. Sam was an outstanding guide, giving us simple, informative and effective guidance both before and during kayaking. He was very attentive to the group and anticipated potential issues with ease. His relaxed and friendly manner made for a fun and enjoyable time. While out on the water we saw eagles and other birds as well as seals.

- We had an informative, chatty guide (Casey) who kept us together and engaged with positive encouragement and his insightful wildlife observations. We saw a bald eagle, lots of seals (grey and harbor), lions mane jellyfish, osprey as well as more common birds for any seaside jaunt. The sea kayaks were in great condition, and the views were beautiful. Get there early for the thorough safety check and explanation of the route!

Great Experience (Don't expect lunch!) - The guide was very knowledgeable, informative, patient, and helpful. The trip was very worthwhile. However, the writeup for the tour on Viator gives the impression lunch will be provided. We were not the only ones on the tour who expected a lunch. When we asked the guide he replied, "This isn't a restaurant." That isn't a courteous reply; it's somewhat disrespectful.
