• Acadia National Park - Our Aqua-Safaris are designed for all skill levels, utilizing the wind, tides, and group dynamics to provide the most enjoyable paddling experience. A 4-hour tour offers ample time for relaxation, wildlife observation, and insights from our professional Registered Maine Guide staff. Your guide will choose the most enjoyable and safest route based on wind direction/velocity, visibility, and tides. We paddle through Western Bay (Pretty Marsh), Blue Hill Bay, and Somes Sound. Most tours are one-way, though occasionally a round trip may occur. Your guide will pause on a coastal beach for a brief lunch break. Maine State Sea Kayak specializes in high-quality Ecological Sea Kayak Tours, with tandems being more commonly used than single kayaks.

All participants must check in 40 minutes before the trip for safety reasons.

We are located in Southwest Harbor, so please allow extra time for unexpected traffic if traveling from Bar Harbor.
