Fun day out at Leeds Castle - Had a fantastic visit to Leeds Castle with my girlfriend! The staff were brilliant, the crowds were not too bad, and the history was very interesting. The ham and cheese toastie alone was worth the trip… absolute perfection. The maze, however, nearly claimed us for good… but we made it out (eventually). Highly recommend!

Lovely stay at Leeds Castle - We’ve just come from a lovely relaxing stay at Leeds Castle, we stayed in the stables which was lovely and cosy with robes and slippers and a lovely complementary snacks and drink tray. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very nice with lovely views of the castle and also a lovely breakfast the next day. The staff were all really helpful and friendly especially Megan in the restaurant bar. Unfortunately due to the weather we couldn’t look around the grounds the next day but that couldn’t be helped.

A Nutcracker Christmas At The Castle - Excellent Christmas decorations with the Nutcracker theme. Live characters, Christmas trees, toys, and decorations made this journey magical.

Mesmerising 😍 - I pretty amazing place, great place for kids with tones of activities to cure their boredom including mini golf, obstacle course, a maze, a bird exhibit and a sand pit. This was great and gave kids a great memorable experience.
The castle itself is nice and heated, with amazing decorations and it brings you right back to the 18th century. The views were breathtaking and the walks had many natural decorations. A great place.
The only thing I would say was disappointing is the food. I came in to the food area and I fancied a sausage roll and to my suprise the had none left. truly saddening as they ran out of their most popular item before twelve. The coffee was also quite weak and the hot chocolate was tasteless, you could barely be able to tell it apart.

Lovey place for day visit - Leeds Castle is in Kent and was on my bucket list. Tickets can be bought online and last for a year! I went on a dull wet day so will go back later in the year. Lovely reception/shop. Plenty of parking. There is disability transport and a land train if you can’t walk from entrance. Lots of ducks and other birds tho didn’t see black swans! Wheelchair friendly paths. Plenty of places for kids to run and play. Birds of prey good place to go tho no display except weekends until Easter. 2 out of 3 eateries open. Food was reasonable price tho may have more choice when more open. Castle was lovely-very 1930s. There are places where you can stay on site.

Not what I expected. - Nice gardens but not very special. The castle itself is disapointing.
Quite expensive ticket. Not worth that mount if money and it has history but also a lot is lost of that.

Bah humbug no tree - I have been visiting Leeds for many many years. I have noticed the castle clearing out to open up for my tourism over that time which is a shame but understandable. However, today my Christmas was ruined. Every year I buy an annual ticket only for the Christmas tree experience in the Castle through which I pass with excitement waiting for the big tree on the stairs...there wasn't one! In its place was a hologram of a tree. I was so disappointed. I have pictures of my children stood infront of the stairs' tree going back many years. I am told it is a new health and safety team, I say, bah humbug. Leave the lights off if you must or get battery LEDs but reinstate the tree.

Standards have fallen - Over time the history and general value for money has declined at this attraction. The Christmas lights 2024 were not as good as the previous year. This is a very popular venue but seems to be living on reputation. Whoever runs this business must be making an absolute fortune but little is offered in return. I do love Leeds castle and I will be renewing my membership in 2025 because it's local but more has to be offered to justify the increasing cost The stripped history needs to be restored to the castle to stop it becoming a sterile, boring wedding venue and all about an American lady that no one's heard of.

A Disappointing Experience at Leeds Castle - My family and I had a truly disappointing experience visiting Leeds Castle in late 2025. We purchased tickets online for around GBP160, anticipating a day of exploration and enjoyment. However, upon arriving at the facility at 13:30, we discovered that both the castle and its park would close at 15:30—information we were never made aware of. This left us with barely two hours to tour the entire structure.
Considering the cost of the tickets and the additional expenses of traveling, we felt deeply let down by the lack of transparency and the limited time available for our visit. Seeking a refund, we were directed to an email address to lodge our complaint. Despite following the procedure, we received no reimbursement.
The response from the management was dismissive, citing terms and conditions that seemed irrelevant to our case. Ultimately, our requests were denied, leaving us with nothing but the bitter taste of a bad experience. I strongly advise against visiting Leeds Castle, as it appears to prioritize profit over customer satisfaction.

Disappointed Christmas lights walk around Leeds castle - I Booked the 8:30 Christmas lights tour.we paid £64 for 3 of us.No one checked the tickets so anyone can walk on.My wife bought a kebab from the food van which was £14.The lights were a disappointment and because it was closing time we wasn’t aloud to finish the route. To top it off on the way out there was a rude security guard that expected us to walk up a muddy foot path in the dark because he would let us walk around the concrete path as it was closing. Total waste of money!!!!!!
