Beautiful castle, amazing scenery and lots to do for little ones and adults alike. - We visited over the half term break and there were plenty of activities to keep the children entertained. Trying to get to the middle of the maze was good fun and had us all competing against each other. I love the fact that your ticket will allow you to visit again as many times as you like throughout the year, as you need more than just one day to see it all. The scenery was spectacular and the castle offered audio tours to find out more about its history. Very educational. Unfortunately one of our audio tours didn't work but we made do. The queues to buy food were also extremely long, but this could have been down to it being a particularly hot day and everyone queuing up for icecreams ! The playground and sand pit are also a good size and get kids burning off lots of energy. The little train into the grounds was cute but the walk there is just as good as the greenery around you makes it a relaxing stroll. Would recommend visiting over a couple days and paving yourself so you don't overdo it all in one day

Long weekend visit for 70th Birthday of one of party. - Smashing staff at The Castle. Lovely chats and very informative. Stayed in cottage in grounds and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful.

Fantastic day out - The grounds are beautiful and it’s so big you can get lost in peaceful spots even when it’s busy. Loads of parking. The castle is very interesting and well maintained. Had a lovely lunch overlooking the castle in the restaurant. Overall, a top day out. Worth every penny.

Our Visit 7 May 25 - Whilst this is a lovely day out it was very disappointing to have been told on entry to collect our audio guide before entering the castle and then to be told at the castle that the audio guides were all reserved for tours and there were therefore none available so we ended up having to look around the castle without the guide. Perhaps this should have been mentioned before taking our money.

Typical English Castle. - A lovely views. Pretty gardens. But a bird show was much weaker in comparison with Warwick Castle. Insides of the Castle were spoiled a bit by their previous owners.

Good and bad - The outdoor facilities for the children were very good, we were disappointed in the main castle due to the rooms that had nothing in them, we have been multiple times previously and always found all the rooms of interest. Also we were there yesterday and the children were disappointed that ice creams were only available by the children's playground when we got to the courtyard, too far to walk back again! (Frustrating to see all the other ice cream outlets were closed)

Disabled be aware - Went with my 7 year old grandson and my sister who’s in her seventies, we had a fantastic time together my grandson loved the maze and caves beautifully presented fantastic memories made, when entering the venue we waited for the train which takes you to Leeds castle we naturally assumed that the entrance fee covered this half a mile trip, when it eventually arrived the driver asked me for my ticket to board the train and explained it was a additional fee not covered by the entrance ticket and didn’t take any other form of payment, it took my poor sister a good 30 minutes to walk to the main entrance, it’s a shame that this was not properly explained when we got our ticket
