A wonderful day in São Miguel, even if it’s raining, involves exploring the volcanic activity at Furnas, including the “caldeiras,” geysers, and thermal springs.

Take the opportunity to visit and enjoy a bath at Terra Nostra Park and its hot springs. The entrance fee is not included and can be purchased at the park entrance on the day of your visit, subject to availability.

If you choose not to visit the park, you can spend more time exploring Furnas village and seize the opportunity to taste and purchase the island’s renowned products: tea, “Bolo Lêvedo,” steamed corn cob, “Queijadas,” and many others. Alternatively, you can enjoy lunch. Although not included, you can stop for a typical “cozido” lunch at a local restaurant. Please inform us in advance so we can make a reservation.
