Worth the hike! - Had a wonderful day at Longonot and then Lake Naivasha! The driver David was friendly and very kind, and went out of his way to make the day a success. The trail guide Moses was local and very knowledgeable and quick to take tons of photos in key spots :) The full rim hike is definitely worth the work; it is absolutely gorgeous. There’s nothing like walking along a trail with a lush prehistoric-feeling crater on one side, and a valley on the other. And we saw tons of hippos and pelicans at Lake Naivasha, the guide had a very keen eye. He even threw a fish to get an eagle to swoop near us.

Wonderful day - We are very satisfied with the trip. Up to the mountain, our guide Jaafar, a young erudite, told us about Kenya, Nairobi, the county's economy, about the mountain/lake, at the same time we admired spectacular landscapes from the car and the climb up the mountain offered us picturesque landscapes including Lake Naivasha, and Jaafar helped us climb the mountain more easily, it seems he knows every path. The lake offered us equally pleasant moments, beautiful flowers, we caught the hippo family coming out of the lake to eat. On the shore of the lake we saw a lot of birds, and on the hills around the lake we saw a lot of gazelles, zebras, and animals that we had not seen in Nairobi National Park. David, the driver drove the car carefully, even in the rain. The operator is reliable, we recommend it with confidence.

Great day trip up Mount Longonot! - We took a day trip to Mount Longonot and had a fantastic time. We were collected by Harrison (our driver) and David (our guide) at 6am for the drive out to the mountain. They were both engaging and shared info about the area, Kenya, etc on the drive up. On the mountain, David was a great guide. We particularly appreciated that he seemed to be enjoying the hike as much as we were (despite the fact he'd done it a number of times in the past)! We had a great time and we were in very capable hands! The hike took about 4 hours, and had beautiful views. We were back in Nairobi by about 14:00. Would definitely recommend this trip if you are looking to get out of Nairobi for a quick trip into the countryside.

Great trip! - We had an excellent day climbing up Mt. Longonot and taking a boat ride on Lake Navaisha. The hike to the top viewing area of Mt. Longonot is a climb, not a leisurely hike! It is 2 miles to the top. There are amazing views all along and the reward at the top, seeing the inside of the crater, is well worth it. My guide was David and he was very patient with me as we slowly made our way uphill. (Going down took 1/2 the uphill time). We saw interesting vegetation, many birds, and wildlife off in the distance. Our driver was Alex who maneuvered us through traffic adeptly and safely. Driving in Nairobi is not for the faint of heart. Throughout the car ride Alex and David shared stories and facts about Kenya, which was most interesting. I was the only one on today’s excursion and I appreciate the both of them for making me feel safe and welcome.

A must-do experience for active safari goers! - We had a lovely day expertly guided by Harrison. We stopped at a viewpoint of the rift valley as the sun was rising then continued to meet our mountain guide, Stephen, who led us up mount longonot. We passed really close to giraffes on our way down! The walk was more tiring than expected due to the altitude but still a lovely 4hrs to go up, round the crater and round again. (Make sure you take plenty of water) Lunch was a simple buffet and then the boat ride on Lake Naivasha was well worth it to see hippos and loads of other animals and birds on crescent island.
