Great day trip from Hanoi - Great tour! The drive is a bit long but totally worth it. Cycling in the village is a very nice experience and the guide is very friendly and knowledgeable. It will be more chill and there will be more free time to explore for the people doing the 2D1N tour but the 1 day tour is also very nice for people with limited time.

Beautiful views! - Our tour to Mai Chau was a wonderful experience! Our tour guide Mr. Tony was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the day! We had wonderful conversations over delicious food once making it to the village! We were so grateful for our stop midway to visit a little village alongside the road and had beautiful views while eating corn and sticky rice! The drive was about 3.5 hours away and the car was very comfortable! It was a laid back day and we were happy to have had it booked privately. We would go again!

Do you want a tour out outside of Hanoi? - It is a long ride, but worth it, since the view is astonishing when you get far enough out of Hanoi.
The tour was less organized than the one we tried to Ninh Binh, but that was actually awesome, since we then had more time to enjoy the surroundings!
I can only recommend the trip, even though the ride is long.

Amazing - It’s was perfect ! Sonny is a very good guide. He shares his country's culture and is very kind. This village is also exceptional. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you :)

Worth doing - On time pick up at hotel
Don our guide was excellent as was the Driver
Bus a bit old but good
Long enough trip but a good tour
Can be got for 1.9 m for 2 people with a little bargaining

Could be much better - to avoid if no changes - Disappointed because several things are not described by others customers.
1st the driver drove not safety
2nd the bus is noisy and not confortable
3rd lunch is very poor (only vegetables, rice and fruit, with a little bit of meat)
4th no welcome drink, no more coffee, just on little bottle of water
5th bikes are from an another time…
Guide was ok and friendly but it is not enough regarding the price : 50$ per pax.
Mai Chau is a beautiful village and the quiet is much appreciated regarding life in Hanoi.
Finally I’m very surprise of notation. Perhaps only satisfied customer can answer the survey…

Nice - Wonderful landscape
But the journey is very long
Only possible activity of cycling but with the heat we preferred the electric carts which are chargeable and not included in the price
And are very expensive!!! 20th for a half-hour journey.
Absolutely everything is worth it, even a cold bottle when it's 34°
