Great cruise excursion booked through Viator instead of the cruise line - You walk outside the cruise port and take a taxi to the nacional. Taxi was $20 and the resort reimbursed me $16 upon arrival. Our hostess escorted us to a beach bed and gave us menus and said whatever you want. We had a great day eating lobster, tomahawk steaks, ahi tuna bowls, and lots of Mexican beer. Food was the BEST we have ever had in Mexico. The employees were very attentive and you never wanted for anything. It’s not a great beach, more like a sandbar which is great for kids. No waves. There is the Mayhaul(spelling?) shopping area right there on a boardwalk like area. It’s typical vendors bothering you to buy things but it wasn’t as bad as the cruise terminals are. Overall I think it’s a great deal considering the amount and quality of the food. When our day was over(you choose when you leave), they escort you out and they pay the cab to take you back to the cruise port. Overall top notch service!!!

We will be back - The service and food here was great! The cab ride was about 10-15 min through the town but the ships can be seen from the beach. My cab to the hotel I paid and the hotel gave me the cab money that was reserved for transport. When it was time to go, they paid the cab and walked us out to find transportation back. Our kids are 9,6,7 and we had a great and full beach day.

Great hidden gem with delicious fresh seafood - We had an excellent time at Nacional beach club. Looks small at first glance, but the service and quality of food and drinks was excellent. The ceviche was the freshest we’ve had maybe ever. The beach was perfect for young kids to play. We also had comfortable cabana chairs for the whole group. Definitely impressed and would recommend whole heartedly.

VIP experience - The beach club here is top notch! We have been 5 times and every single visit has exceeded our expectations. The food and drinks are so fresh. The staff is extremely attentive. The cozy club makes you feel at home. I’m always sad to say goodbye until next time. Do yourself a favor and experience this real VIP experience. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent Day at Nacional Beach Club - Nacional Beach Club was a real treat!!! Wow!!! We were so impressed with the service, the food, the beautiful facilities (clean beautiful bathrooms, restaurant, bar). The beach chairs with chunky cushions were amazing. Also had massages available on the beach/sand. We would have wanted to stay longer. Will definitely return anytime we are back in Costa Maya. Best service we received from any of the other areas we visited and from any of the other islands we visited.

VIP beach resort was our favorite excursion ! - We loved our experiences in Costa Mays . After wandering around looking for a cab to take us to the Beach Club and making arrangements , it was a perfect day outing . Our host greeted us, paid for our Taxi, And explained thoroughly about our options at the resort . We could do anything, eat anything, drink anything we desired . Our host took us to our beach chairs, adjusted our umbrella, and we started relaxing at the beautiful playful beach . We could look to our left and SEE our cruise ship just a few minutes away . Diane decided to have a massage and she thoroughly enjoyed it . We would easily do this again .

Relaxing Beach Day - It was a very relaxing day at the beach. It was easy to get a taxi there that they paid for. We enjoyed the food and the drinks. Raphael was a very attentive waiter. The beach was a little small but it was relaxing. People kept coming up to us to try and sell us items but were respectful when we said we weren't interested.

Beware of vendors - We had good service an enjoyed the all inclusive part. However, we didn't enjoy all the vendors constantly coming up to us selling various items where we couldn't just relax.
