Perfect day by the beach - Fantastic lesson on the beautiful beach with flowing margaritas. Food delicious. Eric amazing. Didn’t do the dancing as too full from lunch but swam in the clear blue waters. Amazing experience.

Salsa and Cooking lessons make for a fun day. - Tito, owner of Pancho's, did a great job in setting up a fun and delicious experience. Making of salsa and guacamole was fun and delicious. You are on a table right on the beach, under palm trees. Eric, our server and dance instructor was very accommodating and made sure people has a good experience. The drinks were generous and easily refillable. The only suggestion was to give better instructions on how to find the pick up bus. Note to future users, you have to walk through the market, and find your way to the street, where the buses and drivers are located.

Cooking, Dancing and Beach Day - We booked as a cruise port excursion. Very helpful to receive email for where to meet off the cruise ship. Takes about 15 minutes to get out and cruise port area to meet at the outside gate. Was wonderful to see someone with a sign with our names waiting for us. Eric made sure to take care of us. We were waiting for another couple bet they did not come after 20 minutes so they organized the transfer to the beach. We were greeted at the other side and walked over to our area to start making salsa and guacamole. We had a drink to start and waited for another couple to start our cooking lesson. There is a time limit for open bar so know when your time is up. The salsa and guacamole cooking class was hands on and easy to prepare. Tasted great and will take back home to make again. Salsa class was fun. Very introductory so if you have had any lessons before this may be too beginner. They continued to play music on the beach for us so we could dance on the beach. The beach is shallow and can walk out easily. Busy area but you can find spots to have a chair and lie out. There are places to walk and shop along the beach but didn’t have time to do. Organized a taxi back to cruise port for our group. Felt well taken care of. Special thank you to Eric and Poncho.

The staff was very... - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach area was nice. The ingredients were fresh and we enjoyed making and eating the salsa and guacamole. The salsa dancing was not as much a lesson as it was one staff member dancing and the students trying to dance.

Perfect day - It was a fun excursion! The beach club was really nice and the water was the best I’ve seen in costa maya. Pancho was super friendly. Definitely a must here and we’ll definitely come back!

Fun package idea! - My spouse and I got to stay at the beach all day. It was a great location and the salsa and guacamole instruction was fun. Very tasty. We had complimentary drinks for the first 2 hours. Poncho was great to talk to. We were the only people who bought the package for that day and I think when there is a small group the salsa lessons are more on the minimal side. It sounds like a bigger group will have more instruction from reading the other reviews. This is a great package and unique experience for the day though.

A great experience if they limited bookings for excellent service - This is a beautiful beach class where you assemble prepared ingredients. The day we went it seemed unorganized and overbooked. We paid for 4 adults to do the class, and they only had supplies for 2 when we arrived. Also, we were not able to eat our creations without chips...and they were hard to come by. The free drinks were slow coming. I wish they would set time slots for this and limit those they have staff and supplies to serve. We headed back to the ship before the dance lesson was arranged. We asked about it for several times. The staff was working hard, but there were just too many bookings to serve.
