Magelang - On Day 1, guests will be picked up at 9 am from their accommodation in Yogyakarta. The journey to Selo Baru Village, situated on the northern side of the mountain, takes about 2 hours.
Mount Merbabu National Park - After enjoying lunch or a coffee break, guests will prepare and begin the climb. It takes roughly 3-4 hours to reach the top of the Savanna. Upon arrival, a breathtaking sunset view awaits. Following the sunset, guests will set up their campsite for the night with the assistance of their guide. There will be free time to relax or rest in preparation for the sunrise climb the following day.

Mount Merbabu National Park - Rise early to prepare for a 1-2 hour hike to the mountain’s summit for an unforgettable experience of witnessing the magnificent sunrise at Mount Merbabu, Central Java’s most renowned volcano. After the sunrise, return to the top of the Savanna for a light breakfast. The journey continues to the climbing base camp’s starting point. Upon reaching the basecamp parking area, guests will meet their driver and head back to their accommodation in Yogyakarta.
