Wasn’t sure what to expect !! But it delivered - JP was very personable, knowledgeable and passionate about his adopted city. He was very well versed and his delivery was very clear. We had spent 2 full days in Madrid, but in the first 10 minutes we learned a lot. Sadly we didn’t complete the tour because of biblical rain so missed the last part, walking up to the Palacio Real de Madrid. Please note this is not a free tour & the tour guides are not paid by the tour company but work on a gratuity basis, leaving the amount you wish to pay at your discretion, depending on your own valuation, so the TripAdvisor fee is somewhat misleading. Having said that, would highly recommend the tour. Hopefully we will be back to finish off the tour with JP. 5 ⭐

He was not only very knowledgeable about the history of Madrid and Spain, he was very entertaining. His tour included a very comprehensive city guide. A must do when arriving in Madrid if you want to know all the best places to see and things to do during your visit.

Engaging Tour Guide - JP is perfect person with his background and personality to handle a large group of people with possibly different expectations. A unique angle to explain the Habsburger dynasty in Spain. He kept the energy and information flowing for 2 hours, as well as providing useful follow up information.
