Great Tuk Tuk Experience - Agus, our guide, was very friendly and accommodating. He picked us up at our hotel as scheduled. We enjoyed a tour for just the two of us of many historic sites and places of interest in Madrid. Agus told us interesting stories and anecdotes about many of the sites. I would definitely book a Tuk Tuk again and recommend it as a great introduction to the city.

We were picked up from... - We were picked up from our hotel and this was quite convenient since my mother is 87 years old. We went around the city and our tour guide was very intertaining, knowledgeable and humorous. Though he got a bit impatient towards noontime when we got stuck in traffic. The restaurant he recommended for paella could not have been worse. I guess it was my fault since i said somewhere cheap. Then it rained and got cold. There were places i would have wanted to stop and take pictures but we only passed by like the retiro park. We did go inside 2 churches. Most of it was sightseeing. The price mentioned was for only 30 mins ( not mentioned in advertisement) and with the traffic in Madrid you will have to add more time if you want to see the rest of the city. All in all it was ok.

Lack of Vision - Please provide the desired pickup time from your hotel, as the driver will not be sending messages. Be prepared to receive calls from international numbers. Regarding the previous service, please note that the driver was delayed by nearly two hours, and an unexpected charge was applied for transportation to the soccer stadium. It is recommended to confirm all charges before the trip. If you do not speak Spanish, a mobile translation tool will be necessary for effective communication with the tour guide. Our tour guide lacked vision and didn't seem to have a planned route. Additionally, requested a stop at an ATM on several occasions, he totally ignored our requests.

Guide was not English speaking - When we were picked up, Guide said she could speak some English. Did not look at our ticket which was for short tour. She preceded to take us on a 2 hour tour mostly going around the cathedral several times, tried to explain sites but we couldn’t understand her. I tried to ask questions but she couldn’t talk and drive and I really couldn’t understand her, having to ask her to repeat many times. I finally stopped asking and she stopped trying to explain! In addition to that her microphone and speaker were not working well and I had to lean up over the seat to hear her! My husband in the back seat could hear nothing!! When we got to the hotel she said we owed her 50 euros?? I said I paid on Viator and was not paying any more for tour! She said it was a 2 hr tour and I owed her 50 euros! She called her boss and wanted me to talk with him. I explained I paid through Viator and was not paying any more and I didn’t ask for a 2 hr tour?? He finally said ok but would like a good review?? I couldn’t do that simply because we missed so much because she could not converse well in English.

Bait and switch tourist trap - There are better options. Scheduled a tour but not driver showed up. After contacting the company they sent a guide so the tour started 1 hour late. Turns out this is a by the half hour tour, of which you have paid for 30 minutes. They will keep taking you around and show a few spots but will charge you a lot of additional money. Guide spoke limited English and gave limited information. Hard to see and take pictures from vehicle and stopping and getting out will cost you time. No water or sodas available.
