Come to Madrid’s funnest and trendiest cooking class where we emphasize the importance of the social aspect of cooking, eating and drinking!
Our professional chef will guide you through Spain’s most iconic tapas that will leave your mouth watering. You will be welcomed with a glass of Cava and be taken to your personalized cooking stations where you will work in pairs and have the necessary ingredients to make 4 traditional Tapas!
The cooking portion of this experience will take you on a trip through Spain as we will make one tapa from each corner of the country! The class has been created for you to be able to participate in a very hands-on workshop! Ask our chef as many questions as you want as they are also your host and has the purpose of making you and all the other guests feel at home, and of course to keep your wine glasses full!
Once the class is over you will be invited to our private dining room and all the guests will sit together at our table and share the tapas but also a main course and dessert made by our chefs, Turning this experience into a 6 course menu that is paired with our bottomless wine pairing of 5 different Spanish wines!

Very fun, high energy... - Very fun, high energy evening. We made 5 different classic tapas. The Cava was flowing. Later when our class concluded they brought us downstairs into a beautiful old brick walled room with an enormous table and seated us for a dinner entree with wine tastings. By then we had all made friends and it was a great way to end the evening.

A highlight of my time in Madrid - At the end of a group tour in Portugal and Spain, I added on a few days solo in Madrid primarily to visit several museums. One downside of solo travel is that dinnertime can be a lonely affair. Luckily, I hit upon what turned out to be a truly terrific idea--which was to book a cooking class. I had a delightful time with the other guests and our wonderful chef, Carmen. Each of the tapas we learned to make (and then consumed) was better than the one before, and as advertised, the cava and wine kept flowing. Our adventure in the kitchen was followed by a main course and dessert (prepared by Carmen) in a cozy and attractive lower level of the Cooking Clubhouse. All in all, it was a wonderful evening, and it was followed a few days later by an email to which the recipes for all we'd prepared were attached.
Fellowship and great food--always a winning combination and possible even for those, like myself, who are otherwise traveling alone.

Fun Cooking Class Experience! - We had a super fun experience at this class! You cook in pairs at your cooking station, so it is ideal for couples. We made four different tapas - chistorras with cider, gambas al ajillo, stuffed piquillo peppers, and logrono mushrooms, as our Chef Instructor hosts continued to refill our glasses with Cava. And when we had finished cooking, we were surprised with a sit down dinner down in the cellar where we were served pork and Catalan Cream for dessert, along with Spanish Red and White wines, which again our hosts were not shy with keeping our glasses replenished. All of the recipes were sent to us via email. A special thank you to our Chef Instructor hosts, Pao and Benny, who guided us through the experience with amazing enthusiasm and knowledge!

Fun time in Madrid - So much fun! Benny and Carmen were great! We met some great people, cooked and ate some great food and drank great wine! What more could you ask for?!?😀

Must do experience in Madrid! - We took the tapas class at The Cooking Clubhouse and had a wonderful time. The staff was fun and very knowledgeable. They went out of their way to ensure we all had a great time. Plus, the food and wine were all excellent.
We look forward to getting home to practice what we learned!

Tremendous cooking class experience! - Absolutely amazing experience! The entire staff was kind, helpful, and caring. Vasco is a genius! He shared his passion for the cuisine with thoughtfulness and an ample helping of humor. The cooking stations are top level and having the Mise en place done was so cool and allowed us to really focus on cooking, not prepping. I also really enjoyed sharing the experience with everyone else, such a fun cool vibe. If we are ever in Madrid again we will be back! Randy K. Smith
