Great north Qatar tour - It was a wonderful tour. We learned a lot about the country’s history, culture and customs. Mr Sajid Khan is a great tour guide and took us on a few but interesting detours.

A great way to see the North of Qatar - We were picked up on time as arranged in a lovely cool air conditioned vehicle making the trip very comfortable. We particularly liked that Saleh was from Qatar wearing traditional clothes giving a real authenticity to the tour. We feel we have now visited all the best sites and given good knowledge of each area. It was great to see the new developments such as the football stadiums and the old city and fishing port and market plus purple island which is literally a swamp in a dessert!! ending up at the El Zubarah Fort. The tour was very relaxed and we were given plenty of time to explore the sites. If you are visiting during the World Cup this would be a great trip to do in between the matches.

The North - Saleh took us to see the northern part of the peninsula. We went to see Al Khor and Al Zubara, the port, the oldest fish market, the ruins of Al Jumayl and the beach. It's been a great Saturday thanks to Saleh

Not a Tour Guide but just a driver... - Our tour guide had very little knowledge of why Purple Island exists or the history behind Al Zubarah Fort. In addition, our driver was a reckless on the road, driving at fast speeds. At one point, car almost skidded off the road. Other than that, the itinerary itself is so-so. Purple Island is basically a rock. Al Zubarah fort is the only one worth doing, just get a few photos and leave.
