Making a long story short - FABULOUS - What an amazing day!
Joel was a fabulous guide and driver.
The extra for a private tour is worth every penny, miss the crowds, travel in comfort and tailor the trip to your interests.
Madeira is a beautiful island and made all the more interesting by local knowledge and enthusiasm

Joel tailored the trip to include all the sights we wanted to see, his knowledge and humour kept us amused and his reversing skills are second to none .i wouldnt hesitate to recommend this day trip

Bespoke day out in Maderia with a great guide. - Our guide Joel was full of enthusiasm for Madeira and knew much about his island. It was a tailored, bespoke day that allowed us to see things we didn’t even know existed. We went to places that bigger tours would visit but also hidden gems. The weather on the day was a mix of sun and rain showers, but Joel changed the day to suit everything, having a positive and friendly attitude to everything. His English and understanding was perfect. We would thoroughly recommend Joel and his company to anyone looking for a unique experience of everything the Island has to offer.

A wonderful experience in Madeira! - We had an unexpected change to our trip that left us in another city on the day of our scheduled tour. Joel assisted us in arranging a new tour with his colleague, Henrique. He accommodated our schedule and made sure that we were able to see everything we had hoped for. Henrique was knowledgeable and funny. We had a great experience filled with waterfalls, forests, beaches, stunning views, and even some local poncha. We highly recommend this company for all of your travel wishes in Madeira!!!

Truly a wonderful... - Truly a wonderful experience, our local tour guide Joel showed us a great time probably the best thing we did on our 3 week Portugal trip. If I could give this a 10 star I would. Highly recommend.

Awesome sights! Great historical informational tidbits! Great tour guide and company! - Joao was a great tour guide and full of great tidbits of history at each sight we toured.
We were able to customize our experience to places we had not visited and it was really easy to enjoy the experience due to the comfortable and cleanliness of the car.
Our tour guide was kind and pointed us to great lunch spots and poncha bars.
It was truly a wonderful experience that I will not forget. He took us to awesome scenic spots that overlooked Madeira and the enchanted forest a top of Madeira was a unique experience.
It was a bit chilly since I was in shorts at the time but Joao let me borrow the picnic blanket to use as an overcoat.

Off the tourist routes - Discovering the island with Joel was a real pleasure. He took me and my 23-year-old daughter where we wanted with great flexibility and showed us unique places with very few tourists. Perfect driver!

Fantastic experience outside tour guides - Excellent experience! We already knew Madeira, but we made an off road tour outside the tourist routes that is worth it for those who like adventure.

Fantastic tour - We had an absolutely amazing day spent travelling around the north west of Madeira with Joel.
He is a wonderful tour guide. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very special from the moment he picked us up at the hotel and throughout the whole day. We saw many great places on the west side of the island, with breathtaking views and vistas, with interesting historical facts.
Joel took us to all the places we had requested to see, and so many more that we never would have seen without his in depth knowledge of the island. We would highly recommend a full day tour with Nourishing Experiences. Joel is an excellent guide.

An amazing day exploring the East of Madeira - We had the good fortune of exploring the East of Madeira with our tour guide Joel from Nourishing Experiences. Joel knows the island like the back of his hand and was extremely generous with his knowledge. He was able to on the fly refine aspects of the tour based on our interest. Patient, enthusiastic and kind, we had a wonderful time and appreciate Joel helping enhance both our experience and memories. 10 stars!
