A FANTASTIC day in Lokobe Reserve in Nosy Be! - We came by the NCL cruise boat to Hell Ville on Nosy Be, and Frank, our guide, was already waiting for us. I should mention that the communication with Yamaya's tour company before our visit to Madagascar was incredible. Immediately after booking via Viaotor, he contacted us and made sure about all details of our visit. Thus, we felt so informed and sure that all would go fine with our tour. Frank was just a fantastic, enthusiastic guide. He and our driver would even stop on the road when a chameleon or a particular flower was spotted. We came to the fishermen village which is the base for the boat trip to Lokobe reserve. Besides Frank, the local guys from the village helped us row their traditional wooden pirogue canoes to come to the reserve. The hike through the jungle was fantastic per se, as the terrain is so scenic, passing over several creeks. We saw numerous endemic plants and animals, besides the famous lemurs. After coming back to the village by boat (on a way back they used a motor boat in order to save the time), we had a delicious lunch of grilled fish, squid and meet. Also, a delicious fruits. Overall, it was just a fantastic experience with the most memorable rowing of my life! Thank to you, Frank, and your helpers!

An wonderful and unique experience - Superb. Wonderful. The best experience possible. The tuk tuk ride from the cruise terminal was fun. The canoe ride even better, but the jungle trek was inspirational - hot, sweaty but well worth the effort. Our guide was first class. The lunch provided was excellent. Thank you for a memorable and wonderful day.

Discovering the real Madagascar ❤️ - We arrived at the village that then takes you to the reserve at low tide, rowing on typical African pagodas, we really earned it, unforgettable experience. Arrived at the beach, we walked and reached the village greeted us the village chief, an elderly gentleman, very kind who gestured and made us understand that we were welcome. We prepared ourselves with long clothing and tropical spray and set out for the two hours in the forest with two guides, brothers of the place, who patiently searched for all the animal species that live here to be able to show them to us and give us information about them; Ditto for existing flora. Very interesting, I could see up close the chameleons I cared so much, the lemurs of all cuts, the geckos, even the python! Really recommended experience that for me will remain unforgettable 💖

Nature at its best! - The tour was well organised, prompt pick up from the hotel, ideal for solo travellers. The paddling was much fun, and we saw lemurs, snakes, frog and chameleon on the tour. The food was delicious, and plenty. Roger and Frank eere great guides and spoke English well. I would recommend booking with them.

Place of awesome lemurs - The tour was a real adventure!!! It is not really very easy to get to the national park as the road is pretty long, first you travel by car and then row to the park, so expect some mild physical activity, but the effort and time definitely worth it. I have seen lemurs who will sell their souls for bananas, rare leaf tail geko, chameleons (one was the smallest existing), and pythons, which was pure luck and credit to the great guide. The nature is breathtaking, but better have proper shoes and mosquito repellent. At the end we had delicious lunch in the village. Can only recommend the tour.

Fascinated by the forest - After a bus trip we arrived at a village by the sea. During the journey we passed ylang ylang plantations which give off an intoxicating scent. Once we arrived at the village they assigned us a pirogue. Two young Malagasy people paddled for about an hour. Myself and I husband we tried to paddle but it was quite tiring. Once we arrived at the forest we walked for about two hours. We saw very small lemurs, chameleons, snakes, mantises, butterflies and much more. The humidity level was very high and in the end I was quite exhausted but truly happy and satisfied
