“A superb day - A fantastic insight into Madeira, a really great day with good company. Lewis was an excellent driver, guide, comedian and most important extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his beloved Madeira. We stopped for lunch which for 17€ was well worth it. We then took in incredible scenery in this amazing country. The best part of the day was undoubtedly the wine stop. The young lady Rebecca was charming a wonderful advert for the wine company. She showed us around the vineyard explaining all the different types of wines, where and how the vines were best positioned and why. The tasting was as good as I tasted and again Rebecca explained the 6 different types of wine. Ranging from 3 different whites, a rose, and 2 reds. A truly wonderful day. The journey going back was easier as Lewis loved telling jokes as we all had had a few drinks we laughed a lot more than before. All in all a day I would highly recommend.” - Reviewed on 2023-12-11
