Safety, competence and comfort. - We did the 6 days Machame route.
We did not know what to expect but we were guided by Sebastian. He walked us through what gear we should and should not take. He guided us through the planning and he came to our hotel the day prior to check out our gear and to prep us.
The route it self we did with two Wonderfull guides, Emannuel and Florence. Two very capable and friendly guides. If we had a problem Emannuel had a solution. The team around it was also very nice and friendly. We had around 8 porters and a Cook (sounds like a lot but is per usual). The food was way better than expected. I started the climb with stomach problems but those were gone after day two.
We had a very luxurious tent with camping chairs and a table, every night we would get a heating lamp and a hot water bottle in our sleeping bags, trust me, that alone would be enough to choose African Trek & Travel.
We had a safety check every evening and we were monitored closely. On the last evening (before the summit-push) my dad woke up with a severe headache and nausea. Emannuel decided he was not fit to go up, but I was. So I went up with Florence and a summit porter (Emannuel II) and Emannuel moved his bed to monitor my dad closely and stay with him. After a while he guided my dad back down to safety.
I would not have left my dad behind if I did not have trust in this man. So I can personally recommend African trek & travel for your journey to Uhuru peak.

Best for Kilimanjaro Trekking via Machame Route - It was very good. The guide was great and friendly. The Kilimanjaro jungle was awesome, giant ferns, vines on the trees. Physically demanding, but not too much for young people. On the other hand, in terms of price, it was reasonable , as the castle and the entrance to the Kilimanjaro National Park are on site, and you cannot go there yourself. Despite the higher price, I can recommend it.

Lifetime Achievement - This not a cushy comfy organization. It is a serious company focused on their climbers safety and getting them to their goal whether it’s being on the mountain or making it to the summit. Our group was 8 and everyone summited. That says it all. 100% success!!! Guides and porters lead by Moody were amazing. Gabby, pascal, and everyone else made the whole 6 days climb amazing. They got us up early and out ahead of every other group on the mountain, and there were lots of groups. We had the best camp sites and we were the first to summit, ahead of all the other groups that had an extra 30 minutes of sleep. If your goal is to make it to the summit, African Trek is the company to use. Best pdf description to prep and exactly correct equipment list are only the beginning. Once on the mountain you will be well prepared and confident with the result of making it to the summit. Would not use or trust anyone else. Thanks Team Simba for the experience of a lifetime!!!!!

Comfortable Kilimanjaro trekking - Our long-anticipated trip to Tanzania was a dream realized with African Trek & Travel. Though we originally planned to climb Kilimanjaro for 6 days first, a last-minute illness meant we needed to rearrange the itinerary. The team was incredibly flexible, quickly adapting our plans so we could enjoy the climb. Our guide, Paschal, made the climbing unforgettable, with his knowledge and dedication to helping us to reach to top of Africa .Our lead guide, Sebastian, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and safe, making our journey to the summit truly special. We can’t wait to return to Tanzania and would absolutely choose African Trek & Travel again.

Unbelievable Experience with African Trek & Travel! - Our trip was nothing short of amazing! The 6-day Machame Route was challenging yet so rewarding, with incredible views and an encouraging guide who kept us motivated every step of the way. The team took care of everything, from meals to setting up camp, making the trek so much more enjoyable. After summiting Kilimanjaro, we ended.

Guide there are very helpfull - Our 6-day trek to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route was an unforgettable adventure! We couldn’t have done it without our incredible guides and an amazing support crew. The meals were delicious, and every moment was filled with excitement. There are many excellent companies out there, but African Trek & Travel truly stands out for its exceptional guides.
At one point, just three hours from the summit, I was exhausted and freezing after five days of hiking. I almost gave up, but our guide, Sebastian, believed in me so much that he lent me his coat to help me push through and it made all the difference! Both Sebastian and Pascal made our journey remarkable with their expertise and encouragement. Above all, trust your guidethey’ll get you there!

Best 6 days machame hiking - This is by far the best company to summit Kilimanjaro with. We just complete our summit with them, and talked with dozens of others with other tour groups. Let me tell you, don't choose anyone else. I promise you African Trek & Travel is the best. Some reasons why: oxygen to get you to the top, not send you down, hot bunnies at night for your sleeping bag, Hot Lamp to messy tents ( you will see), exceptional staff at 3 staffers to one hiker ratio. My 6 days hiking was full of joy since the communication before and preparation was amazing.

Strongly recommended Sebastian company - Sebastian is a good climbing leader He has very good arrangement and resilience as professional experienced.
Almost 6 days with unforgettable trip in my life to conquer kilimanjaro summit.
I recommended Sebastian company as should support to local small business companies and local staffs but standard almost similar as big company.
