- Santa Rita Ecological Reserve - A stunning location offering several trails filled with endemic species, all safe to explore due to excellent infrastructure. Visitors will have the opportunity to see four waterfalls and enjoy a breathtaking view from the top of Cascada Condor Machay.

Rio Pita Walkpath:
This is an ideal trail for ascending to an altitude of 10,400 feet into the Andean forest, featuring four small waterfalls and nine suspension bridges. The Pita River is the main watercourse, offering a leisurely 2-hour, 5-mile (8-kilometer) walk, perfect for photography and enjoying fresh air. The path leads to the Condor Machay Waterfall, where visitors can have a snack and admire the 80-meter (262-foot) waterfall and the beautiful surroundings before heading back.
On the return journey, lunch is available at Selva Alegre, a well-known town for its variety of traditional foods at reasonable prices, around $10. The area is LGBTIQ and 420 friendly.
