Mu Cang Chai - At approximately 8:30 am, meet the English-speaking local tour guide at Mu Cang Chai Backpacker Hostel to begin the adventure. Travel 20 km by motorbike with local drivers before starting the trek. During the trek, there will be opportunities to gather mushrooms and vegetables.
- 12 pm: Enjoy lunch
- 1 pm: Continue trekking to explore the stunning old forest and enjoy the sounds of animals, insects, and birds.
- 3 pm: Arrive at a river to set up a simple tent for an overnight stay and dig for earthworms to prepare for fishing.
- 5 pm: Set traps with the local guide to catch some rats.
- 6 pm: Fish using earthworms and catch by light with the English-speaking local guide.
- 8 pm: Dinner followed by bedtime
Trekking - Searching for Wild Bee Honey - Return to Starting Point
Mu Cang Chai - 8 am: Breakfast
- 9:30 am: Begin trekking to search for beehives and collect wild bee honey. The old forest hosts various bee species, and depending on the day of your tour, different bees may be observed. The honey season runs from April to October. There are two common bee types: the large bee, which migrates and produces honey from April to October, and the small bee, which resides year-round and makes honey according to the flower season, building hives in trees or underground. If honey is found during the trip, participants will learn how to extract it and receive 200ml per person as a gift.
- 12 pm: Lunch
- Around 3 pm: Return to Mu Cang Chai Backpacker Hostel to conclude the trip.

Spend 2 days and 1 night with local ethnic communities, engaging in activities such as gathering mushrooms and vegetables, fishing, catching rats, frogs, and crabs, collecting wild bee honey, cooking, and enjoying natural music together. Our English-speaking local tour guide will assist in understanding what can be foraged for food and how to survive in the ancient forest. During the journey, you may encounter animals, insects, plants, and trees that are entirely new to you.
