Great way to spend a couple hours in Lyon! - Wonderful wine tasting with Margaret-Rose yesterday! She was fun, explained the wines in a congenial and non-pretentious way, and answered questions from the group well, not just about the wines but about France and Lyon. It was nice to have one location in town to attend and have several different wines rather than spending a ton of money and time to visit the vineyards individually (perhaps another trip). The wines were regionally represented yet also unique, and she explained the heritage behind each one. As a wine snob, I appreciated this, meaning that they weren't just the standard wines you can get at the grocery store and I learned more than I expected to. Timely response online to questions, perfect directions given to the studio, we all felt like friends at the end. I am so glad I spent my afternoon here. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful Tasting in a Beautiful Loft - Margaret-Rose was an amazing guide of Lyon wines! She took care to walk through the history and regional differences while explaining how to smell and taste the wines. The cheeses were on point as well! I would strongly recommend this solo or with friends!

Fantastic wine tasting - We had a really great time at Lyon Wine tasting. Interesting and good selection of wines we don’t see every day. Margaret-Rose is a good and knowledgeable lecturer. Everything is down to earth relaxed but very informative. The food where also well-chosen and made a great match for the wine. Highly recommended both if you are experienced or just a bit interested in wine and the culture around wine.

Absolutely amazing and informative wine tasting - Margaret Rose was absolutely amazing! The perfect blend of knowledge, fun facts and relatable information. This tasting was so good I took notes! She set us up with the perfect framework on how to approach tasting wine and was absolutely amazing. From answering all our questions to supplying us with what felt like a never ending bread basket, Margaret Rose made sure we left knowing the main vocabulary of wine and more importantly how to describe what we like. I cannot recommend this tasting and Margaret Rose enough.

Fantastic introduction to Lyon wines - This was a fabulous experience - the welcome bubbles followed by the more formal tasting. Margaret Rose shared plenty of information on the impact of climate and tradition on the wines we tasted. Would definitely recommend this activity!!

The best sip, tip and Sommelier! - Margaret Rose (MR), our Sommelier, was just awesome! She was funny, engaging and an excellent teacher. Just because one is an expert on a topic doesn’t mean that one can teach it. That is not the case with MR. As a life long beer drinker, I always wanted to learn more about wine but never felt comfortable enough to ask questions about it. Better said, I didn’t know what questions to ask. I quickly put my feelings of dread on the back burner (I’m sure the sampling of wines didn’t hurt), but this was much more than liquid courage. MR had a way of disarming my doubt by teasing out my questions and not taking offense to the ugly, distorted faces I made when I clearly didn’t care for a particular wine that I was sampling in a way that was skillful, humorous and non-threatening. This class is a MUST. Thank you Margaret Rose for helping me to broaden my horizons. Now I know what it means when my salivary glands starts to flow after talking a sip! The best tip and Sommelier ever! This class is a must!
