- Rue du Bœuf - I will introduce you to Lyon’s rich culinary heritage, including the history of the ‘Bouchons’ and their traditional recipes. We’ll also discuss how Paul Bocuse and Mère Brazier helped popularize this cuisine.
- Palais de justice historique de Lyon - I will show you the River Saône and the Palais de Justice de Lyon. I will introduce you to Lyon’s history during World War II, when it was a key point for the Resistance. We will talk about Jean Moulin, a key figure of the French Resistance, and Klaus Barbie, the chief of the Gestapo, who was judged in this courthouse more than 30 years later!
- La Place des Jacobins - I’ll take you through the beautiful squares of this renovated neighborhood, showcasing the new Lyon built in the 19th century for its wealthy residents. We’ll also have a chance to discuss what it’s like to live in Lyon today.
- Grand Hotel Dieu - I will show you the Hôtel-Dieu of Lyon, which was a grand hospital for centuries. We’ll explore this impressive building, which has now been transformed into a mall.
- La Place Bellecour - We’ll conclude the tour at Place Bellecour, one of Lyon’s main squares located in the city center. I’ll reveal some hidden secrets of the square, and we’ll end by visiting the lesser-known statue honoring Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the Lyonnaise author of The Little Prince.

A cold morning became a very warm one... - ...because of Quentin, an excellent guide.
He made us forget the cold by his interesting way of presenting us the history of Lyon.

Lyon must sees - Did the tour for the old part of the city. Went through the trouble passageways, saw Cathederal, had pastry from guide.
Old section close to newer Rue Republic street.
Passages fascinating as was the old town. Lots of interesting places to shop and eat. Couple of pubs as well. One Irish and one US.

Great tour and Quentin was an awesome guide! - Quentin was a great tour guide, he is clearly super passionate about his job. The tour was extremely interesting and exactly what we hoped for. Quentin is friendly and a great local expert.. I highly recommend it! - Quentin is a great local expert who tells us details about the history, architecture and daily life of Lyon in a very relaxed way. By the end of the tour, you will have a much better understanding of the city's past and present. I highly recommend it!

An amazing tour guide - Quentin is an amazing tour guide, you can really tell his love for the city and his love for sharing his hometown with us. He was happy to not only provide us info but give advice on restaurants/places to try and helping to avoid tourist traps. This is a must whether youre in Lyon for just 24h or a month I would 100% recomend!

Don’t miss a tour with Quentin! - Quentin is an excellent guide; personable, knowledgeable and humorous. He takes great care to ensure everyone in the group is recognized and included. The tour was more encompassing and informative than expected because of him. On a rainy Sunday in Lyon, Quentin kept us all engaged and sorry to see the tour end.

High recommendation - I booked the tour to get an overview of Lyon at the start of my stay. Quentin had already provided information in advance and, due to the rainy weather forecast, confirmed again that the tour would take place. Ten of us then spent two hours walking through Lyon. With great wit and charm, Quentin introduced us to his city, gave us tips and advice on choosing restaurants, and explained both historical and current facts. He was very attentive, had umbrellas for everyone, handed out an information sheet with recommendations and tips, and offered to answer any further questions afterward via WhatsApp. A fantastic experience that I wholeheartedly recommend!
