Great experience with Anna! - Anna was a wonderful guide for our history and food tour in downtown Lyon! It was our first full day so she also included lots of recommendations of things to do, museums to see and restaurants/bars with great options for our family. Anna was very knowledgeable and obviously loves her work and meeting new people!

Don’t Miss This - If you wander around old Lyon wondering what is the meaning of all these places Anna is the person to explain the food, history and culture of this great city. In the two hours you could spend at one meal you get to experience the entire town with the delightful company of this knowledgeable tour guide.

Great tour with an even better guide! - My sister and I did the tour our first day in Lyon and I highly recommend! Anna is so sweet and a wonderful guide. We were able to try some Lyon staples while learning some history along the way! It was especially nice because Anna gave us some ideas and must dos outside of her tour for the rest of our stay. Anna was personable and a joy to be around, which made the tour that much more special. She did a good job matching the groups vibes and hanging out or talking more on topics we were interested in. Definitely book with Anna for a great time in Lyon!

Good food and good value for money - Anna knows all the good food and she throws in interesting stories and fun facts along the way. She was very accommodating as I was a Little late. Good phase and there was much needed breaks between tasting. I was so full at the end of the tour! Great value and fun. Do sign up with Anna

Engaging, thoughtful, delicious - It was a lucky day when I signed up for Anna’s Food and History Tour—a perfect balance of relevant history, culture and local gastronomy. Although I’ve experienced France quite a bit, Anna’s tour made my first time in Lyon spectacularly refreshing, highlighting unique attributes of Lyon.
She wove interesting stories and anecdotes into a flawless presentation of history in a way that even this history-challenged traveler ate up.
As the focus of our tour, food reigned with a wonderful variety of local cheeses, sweets, saucissons, and one of Lyon’s iconic specialities, quenelle. I had to go back for more of a couple goodies to take home!
Anna brought us to many corners of Vieux Lyon, which was a welcome portion of the tour to get some nice walking in.
I highly recommend Anna’s tour—she is an enthusiastic, fun, knowledgeable guide and I would sign up for any other tour she may create in the future!

Best Way to Explore Lyon - Being new to Lyon, all I knew was that it’s the gastronomic capital of the world, all of the restaurants are overwhelming. Anna did a phenomenal job ensuring we got to try Lyon’s key sweets, appetizers, and main dish. The tours focus is food (of course) but Anna is extremely knowledgeable of the city and its culture/history. She has interesting anecdotes to accompany the tour, which make it fun and engaging. I also want to include that I (22m) went with my mother, and we both had an amazing time.
10/10 recommend

Lyon, the French Capital of ... FOOD - Awsome tour ! We got to learn more about Lyon, its history and the history and gastronomy in this beautiful place that is the Vieux Lyon (old part of town) with lovely and funny Anna. We saw beautiful sights, walked a bit, ate a lot, loved it !!
