Brilliant experience with excellent guide Anna - Very pleasant tour with lovely tasting food. Our tour guide Anna had so many stories and great knowledge, we were very blessed to have her.Saw places we would not have found and tasted food we did not know, it was all delicious.Recommend this tour.

Excellent guide, excellent tour, would recommend - Tony was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The small group (6 people) worked well and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The places chosen to take us provided a wide range of delicious food and the history of Lyon in general and the good in particular made it good value for money. This was a birthday treat for my partner who is a foodie and it hit the spot.

Wonderful evening - We loved our Sunset Food Tour. Our guide was so informative and friendly. She made everyone feel very comfortable. The food and wine were exceptional and each of the shops we went to treated our group in a friendly and kind manner. We highly recommend this tour.

The Intersection of History and Food - It was as much about the history of Lyon as it was about the food. Our guide did a great job of showing us the interconnected nature of history and food.

Enjoyable and informative tour - Nathalie was a cheerful and informative guide, and took us to eating establishments in Lyon that we would not have known about. It was helpful having someone to explain the culture and history of the city, and the food was delicious!

This is an overhyped tour that delivers only disappointment. No component of the tour lived up to the description. - Our guide was truly excellent, but this is an overhyped tour that promises gastronomic delights but delivers only disappointment. None of the individual components of the tour lived up to the hype. "Meeting one of the most famous sommeliers in Lyon" is a joke. You get only one measly glass of wine on this tour, at the charcuterie stop, but get none with your main course unless you buy it yourself! The restaurant only had four quenelles ready for our party of 5. The restaurant hastily made another, but it arrived undercooked and looked awful. We expected to visit the best brioche bakery in Lyon, but it was shut when we arrived - the guide produced a brioche from his bag and we were expected to eat it outside instead. We therefore didn't get to sample the other sweets promised. Our last stop was supposed to be to sample a local liqueur in a bar, but instead we were offered a liqueur-flavoured ice cream from a street vendor. The tour description is a complete work of fiction - save your money and use it to discover the gastronomic of Lyon yourself.
