Elisabetta was great! - Elisabetta was the best tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and personalized the tour to our interests. We learned a lot about local culture and She also gave us many tips to make our stay at Lyon more enjoyable. The food and wine was excellent as well.

Exceptional experience - Our food tour with Tone was exceptional! First time experience and would love to do it again. Great information on the history of the food in the area and the selection of foods to try were well picked. Really enjoyed it, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lyon.

Great first experience of lyon - Our tour guide, Elisabetta, was amazing. She told us everything about the history of the town and the food. We enjoyed walking around the old town and visiting various local food businesses.

Great way to tour Lyon with a local. - Enjoyable way to tour Lyon. Our tour guide Isabette was excellent and shared her passion for local food with us. Going through two secret passageways was a bonus as was the cheese restaurant.

Lovely experience, super guide - Really enjoyed this food tour, trying delicious, authentic local cuisine and at the same time learning about the unique history of the charming Lyon old town. Meandering alleys and secret passages, our knowledgeable guide Elizabetta was very considered in her selection of places visited - be it a fromagerie, bouchon or bar. She made this tour and Lyon a lovely experience. Appreciate her extra pointers too about what to look for in Lyon.

Well worth investing the time. - Nathalie was keen and knowledgeable, not only about the food history but the cultural and historical evolution of Lyon. Good to spend time with her
Unfortunately and frustratingly I can’t synthesise languages, but Nathalie coped brilliantly and translated for me to understand
Personally, even though the chocolate were all creative works of genius I would have preferred more charcuterie. But that may well be a male thing! The sweets (which seems an insult with the poor standard of sweets in the UK) were a pleasantly surprising taste explosion. Quite extraordinary and a culinary delight

A most enjoyable gastronomic tour - Toné, our guide, was very knowledgeable and personable. His aim was to ensure that everyone in the group enjoyed the tour - we were all part of his team. We learned a lot about Lyon’s culinary traditions, both from Toné himself and from enthusiastic local ‘producers’ whose food we sampled. After the tour Toné kindly sent us a list of personal recommendations covering everything from coffee shops and bakeries to lunch, brunch and dinner venues. We heartily recommend this tour.

Great tour - Very relaxed and accommodated to our travel issues, the tour at night was beautiful and would recommend for everyone. Elisabetta was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable of the town.
