Nice start to visiting Lyon - A wonderful introduction to Lyon, some history, and places to visit. We also learned about modern Lyon and were given an opportunity to snap some shots and hear about current lifestyles. Highlight was seeing the Trompe L'oeil on a building. Thank you!

Great tourguide, absolutely to recommend! - Great tour through mostly unknown areas of Lyon, educating and entertaining at the same time, never boring. Even our teenager who was quite reluctant before the tour, said that she found it great! Tourguide did a fantastic job, well done!

Fascinating walk. Unforgettable! - A walk that shows Lyon shining from the inside, by also showing the lesser-known places, which at the same time turn out to have been no less significant for the city. Great highlights, but also the painful wounds of the city, such as the dire situation of the silk workers that has become known worldwide by Karl Marx. The economic strength of the city, its grandeur and taste festivities, the churches with diverse historical backgrounds; it gets the attention. Just like a tip of the veil of which many famous personalities who made the world a little better, more beautiful stood the cradle in Lyon. The horrific history of 1 August 177 AD, which took place in the amphitheatre of Lyon, we could see it as it were. The ruin is still there. It was Blandina who was tied to a pole in front of the lions to be mauled. Then impaled on the horns of a bull. And that because she could not and would not deny Jesus Christ. Her name can be found on various buildings. As a memento of a time when hundreds had to lose their lives because of their faith in Christ. We walked through unexpected corridors behind doors. Super fascinating! They connect streets, and bring you to unexpected courtyards with the most beautiful architecture. We saw top restaurents and got good tips for top coffee: Puzzle - Wow that caught our breath! Paul Bocuse has transferred his talents in Lyon. And you will only experience that when you follow the golden tips of the experienced guide.. Chapeau!

Good tour with all the highlights - The guide has lived in Lyon for over a decade. Enthusiastic. There were too many people. He should restrict it to 15 maximum. There were places like the traboules where it was clear there were too many people. I took an audio tour with GPS of Vieux Lyon and was a better experience - at my own pace, detailed descriptions and better information. Technology rules....
