More Than Just A Wine Tour - The Beaujolais wine tour was so much more than a wine tour. Rachel, our primary guide, drove us to the Beaujolais region while sharing interesting information about the area. Our first stop was at this beautiful church where Rachel and our other guide (I can’t remember his name) had a little picnic and a wine tasting set up for us. The view was absolutely beautiful. After spending some time there, we then visited this quaint town called Oingt. We felt like we were in another world! We finally made it to the vineyard where we learned about the making of their Beaujolais wine and, of course, had our tastings. If you find yourself Lyon, I would absolutely recommend this tour. Rachel and her partner were a delight!

Wine, views, castle, more wine - perfection - One of the best tours I’ve done! This tour incorporated all the best things about France: wine, learning about wine, stunning vistas and countryside, a gorgeous medieval village, drinking wine at said vistas, AND a winery visit for a further deep dive and vineyard experience with even more wine. We had 2 tastings at a magical overlook where we learned about the region, the AOC, the wines generally with breathtaking views and French pastries. Then we visited stunning Oingt, one of the official most beautiful villages in France where we had time to explore the medieval church and castle. Then we went to a lovely winery/vineyard overlooking the countryside and village and had multiple wines and cheeses while learning about an old family Beaujolais estate. A perfect afternoon!

It was delightful even... - It was delightful even with the rain! We went directly from Place Bellecourt to Oingt, which was so cute, with a delightful ambiance. Shame we could only enjoy a 40 minute trip by ourselves. The wines were light and very fruit based, characteristics from the Beaujolais region, as explained by our guides. The final stop in a local winery, was so good, we were very well received and the guides translated from french is an easy way, we could even ask some questions and see the wine making process, which was a treat. All in all, it was a great experience!

A Scenic Sip of Lyon - We had a fantastic time on this Lyon wine tour! Our guide and driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional—it was a surprise to learn it was only her fourth day on the job. She carried the tour with such confidence and ease, you'd never guess she was new. The experience felt seamless, informative, and fun. A great introduction to the region’s wines and a lovely way to spend the day. That said, a quick note for those considering this tour: as others have mentioned in reviews, this isn't a traditional multi-winery tour. While there are three stops, only one of them is at a winery—and it's fairly modest. The first stop is a scenic overlook where the guide provides two glasses of wine and snacks while sharing regional insights. This is all somewhat clear on the website itinerary, but worth emphasizing for anyone expecting multiple winery tastings.

Good value but bring your water! - Very nice outing to see a little bit of the countryside without bothering: Positive: - pleasant and connoisseur guide - air-conditioned minibus of 8 people so small group - visit of a beautiful village - beautiful views -small family vineyard we don't feel the thing too touristy - interesting and cheap wines for beautiful gifts Negative We felt very pushed by time – despite the 38 degree heat wave, no bottle of water provided in the bus, village or vineyard. We suffered from dehydration with wine and heat

Not what we expected - The tour guides were both lovely and informative. However it felt more of a "tour" of the region as opposed to a "winery tour" which was what we were after. The first stop was at a look out point with two glasses of tastings, whilst the views were nice it wasn't a winery. When we got to the actually winery, the vineyard was beautiful however felt very rushed. For the money spent, I don't think it was worth it.
