Beautiful Beaujolais! - Very enjoyable wine tour with Clem! Nice mixture of tastings and history. The countryside was beautiful. Stopping at the church on the hilltop to have our first sampling of wine was such a great idea. It was also nice to visit a small family run winery. Clem was a great tour guide Would definitely recommend this half day tour.

French Countryside and Wine~ What Could be Better! - This tour was informative and a wonderful way to get out of the city and explore some of the southern Beaujolais wine country. We enjoyed our stop at the top of a pretty hill, with a small chapel overlooking a lovely valley for our 1st little tasting. And then a quick stop in the village of Oingt to see the “golden stones” and walk around the Medieval village. So beautiful! Finally, a winery tour and tasting with tasty cheeses, bread, and sausages. It was a fun day. Highly recommend.

One nice winery. - This SOUTH tour is for lighter, easy to drink wines. The NORTH tour would offer more complex reds. If in luck, you want Ian as a guide. Born here and knows his stuff. This tour would get higher marks if 2 wineries were visited, but only one is. The day begins in a park where the tourist info center is and opens at 9, the same time as the tour departs. (There are 2 sides to the tour center. Walk around it)The tour operators were late so it was confusing how to locate whom, thankfully the vans were marked. Once on board, Ian provided commentary. We stopped at a park for a mini croissant and a taste of 2 wines the company brought. The next stop at a village was a complete bust. Nothing was open. Could accomplished a scenic shot somewhere else. Apparently only open on Fri-Sun. So a worthless stop. Finally we arrived at a very nice small family winery and met Anne the wine marker. Great variety. Our group like the red aged in oak. $12€ so do the tour early in your visit and take a few bottles to the hotel.
