- Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, you’ll be picked up to begin your unforgettable day by heading to the west bank to visit the Valley of the Kings. Here, pharaohs of the New Kingdom carved their tombs into the mountains to hide their treasures and protect their mummies.
- Howard Carter House - Next, drive to the domed mud-brick house where Howard Carter lived during his search for Tutankhamun’s tomb. Surrounded by a garden on an otherwise barren slope above the road from Deir Al Bahari to the Valley of the Kings, the house has been restored and decorated with pictures and tools from the excavations. An exact replica of Tutankhamun’s burial chamber has been constructed on the edge of the garden, along with an exhibition related to the discovery of the tomb.
- Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Then, visit the mortuary temple of the famous Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari. Discover her beautiful temple and her intriguing story with her nephew.
- Art Valley Alabaster Factory - After that, you’ll have the chance to visit the alabaster factory where people still bring stones from the quarry and shape them into various handmade items, just like the ancient Egyptians did.
- Tombs of the Nobles - Luxor - Next, move to the Valley of the Nobles, which is a collection of tombs in Luxor belonging to nobles like Ramose, Senniffer, Menna, and over 400 other Theban nobles. These tombs, marked by numbers, feature beautiful carved scenes. Nestled in the foothills opposite the Ramesseum, there are more than 400 tombs.
- Ramesseum (Mortuary Temple of Ramses II) - Then, proceed to the Ramesseum Temple, considered the memorial (or mortuary) temple of Pharaoh Ramses II. Located in the Theban Necropolis in Upper Egypt, on the west bank of the Nile River, across from modern Luxor, the design of Ramesses’s mortuary temple follows the standard canons of New Kingdom temple architecture.
- Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina) - Continue to the Valley of the Artisans, where the workmen responsible for constructing the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings lived during the 18th, 19th, and 20th Dynasties of the New Kingdom period (1550-1080 BC). Explore the ruins of the village settlement, the Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the goddesses Hathor and Maat, consisting of a small building within a mud-brick enclosure wall, and two of the finest decorated tombs of Sennedjem and Inherkau.
- Habiba Hand Weaving - Then, move to Habiba for hand weaving, specializing in hand-woven scarves made from Egyptian cotton, linen, and wool. Local hand weavers also sell machine-made scarves and shawls in cotton and cotton blends. Located in a rural setting on the west bank in Luxor with views of the nobles’ tombs, women still work and make handmade cloth from pure cotton, giving you the experience of how they use traditional hand-made machines.
- Colossi of Memnon - End your tour on the west bank with a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon.
