Tour to Edfu, Kom Ombo and Abu Simbel - Majed Hassan was our tour guide for Edfu, Kom Ombo and Abu Simbel. He checked on us and greeted us on the cruise, made sure we were okay and had great communication. His education of the history was amazing and he is now a friend. Had a great time and a great tour guide.

A Must-do from Luxor! - I don’t usually do long trips like this especially when I don’t have enough time to visit alot of sites while I’m here but this is worth it and this was the last of my excursions in Egypt. I would recommend doing this from Aswan which is 2-3 hours less but if you can’t, this is a good option
7 hours in (Coffee/Toilet break in Aswan - gas station; ‘Chillout’ is the name & they accept credit cards for convenience snacks) and 1.5-2 hours in Abu Simbel (more than enough time really) with a guide meeting you there and 7 hours back to the Luxor… The driver deserves the praise here and without him, I wouldn’t have gotten down here other than flying, taking a multiple nights boat nile trip or staying in Aswan instead (which I find way less appealing when visiting here on my previous day)… please give your thanks to the driver if you book this tour. Mohammed is the best person to get for a driver. Absolutely nice 👍🏻 . He was able to navigate through multiple police checkpoints on the highway here. Also good shout out to Nice Tours for organizing this trip (not many have clear cut price or even offer a tour from Luxor to Abu Simbel..)
The ride was really comfortable with a newer 2018+ vehicle with A/C and blacked out windows + the back windows to shield you from the sun while driving down which is great! I was able to sleep as well! even though leaving at 0400-0430.
The ticket for Abu Simbel as of June 2025 is 882 Egyptian Pounds for adults and 442 for students. You can pay by Credit Card or Cash (really is great for this). No extra fee for using the card. The golf cart ride is 400 Pounds (roundtrip) in cash; you can walk but it’s really blistering hot down here. Also bring roll of toilet paper and hand sanitary wipes (lots) because the gas station toilets and even in Abu Simbel toilet (10 egyptian pounds per person) has none. If #2, better bring this for sure. End point, bring cash just in case (as common travel recommendations when going to places like these).

Amazing! - From start to finish, this tour was an absolute highlight my trip.
The temples themselves are absolutely amazing. You really have to see them in person to appreciate how massive and detailed they are.
The whole trip was super well organized, which made everything easy and stress-free. Big shoutout to Marina from customer support — she was super helpful and friendly the whole way through.
Totally recommend this tour if you’re in Egypt!

Guided tour of Abu Simbel temples - Hassan was a great guide for our visit to the Abu Simbel and Nefertari temples in Aswan. He is very knowledgeable and always excited to share his insights about ancient Egypt, which made the tour even more interesting. Highly recommend booking a tour with Hassan!

Really appreciate this... - Really appreciate this company! Not an easy drive from Luxor to Abu Simbel and back. The driver and the communication with the office was very quick. He picked us up at 4.30 and all paperwork was done a day before via whatsup. Temples are great and worth every minute of this long trip.

Shaimaa Baheeg - It was a great guide. We had trouble, but they were kind enough to take care of us regardless of the guide.

all good - pick up was at 4:30am from the west bank, i was dropped onto the corniche where i crossed the nile in a boat. the boat had to parallel park in front of another boat that was blocking the dock and it was very dark and i almost tripped on that other parked boat we had to walkover to get to the dock. maybe providing a flashlight is a good idea.
annyway i was met on the street with a small red mitsubishi suv - not sure if that was an eclipse cross or what. i was gifted a braided scarab bracelet before starting my journey. the drive was long but we did stop every 2 hrs or so for toilet breaks and stretching. the gas station toilets were mostly clean and free - except for the last one which was a restaurant toilet , that one charged Le 10 and was kind of the shoddiest toilet.
anyway it was roughly a 5hr drive to get there. got there around 10:06am. i met the tour guide inside after i bought a ticket, and he did an infodump since guides are not allowed inside the temples. after the infodump i had free time to roam and explore and take pics. overall i had around 1.5hrs there, it was enough since the temples were small inside, not much to explore.
on the way back they told me they will swtch drivers when we reached aswan. the drive back took 6 hrs, it was quite traffic when we reached luxor city.
overall it was a pleasant experience but i don't know that this was worth $135 and the 11hr drive because it was just... not as impressive as i imagined lol. it's kinda like going to taj mahal... quite underwhelming lol. but anyway this is just a personal opinion about the temples, there was nothing wrong with the actual tour, it was conducted in a professional manner and i do recommend this company if you want to see abu simbel by road.

Good experience with our Guide Gabriel - We had Gabriel as our guide during our Nile cruise with Nice Tours. He was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Egyptian history, which came through in the amount of detail he shared during the tours. While at times the information could feel a bit dense and slightly difficult to follow as a full narrative, we still appreciated his enthusiasm and effort to make the experience rich and informative. Gabriel was very involved throughout the trip and encouraged us to take part in multiple excursions. Overall, it was a memorable journey, and we’re grateful for the insights he provided along the way.

Long day but definitely worth it - The morning started at 5AM. We met Mustafa Hagagy and the driver Hishmat. We have got a welcoming package and we reached safely all the locations, especially we could make it to the Abu Simbel Temple before the closing hour thanks to Hishmat whom drove us for the required time making his best to arrive in time.
During the first 3 temples Mustafa guided us through the history of the temples.
The experience was delightful, many thanks to Mustafa and Hishmat for this great experience, it is truly recommended.
