A trip and tour guide to remember! - We had such a fantastic tour around the east and west banks of Luxor, with our amazing guide Sayed Gamal. We saw everything we wanted to see in Luxor at our own pace. I’d recommend starting as early as possible to get to the valley of the kings before the crowd (and the heat). Our guide Sayed was excellent, he was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we had the best day possible. He was very accommodating to our preferences and went above and beyond! Thank you!

Fantastic time in Luxor! - We had a great time in Luxor with Emad as our guide and Tamir as our driver. Emad was very knowledgeable about the history of the Valley of Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, Karnak and Luxor Temple. We did a side trip to the Alabaster Making witnessing how the locals create one. They were all interesting and we learned a lot. We really enjoyed ourselves but it was very hot, the AC in the car was heaven sent. Food was not included in our tour so Emad brought us to the Isis restaurant in town to eat. We did not have $ but he was happy to accept £. We paid £10 each for the meal. It was delicious. By afternoon, the sun was settling a bit so we truly enjoyed Karnak and Luxor Temple. We were picked up directly from the airport and got dropped off again so we had to pay £20. We paid gratuities to Emad and Tamir as a sign of appreciation for wonderful tour they gave us.

Excellent tour experience, would definitely recommend - Mr Sayed Gamal (guide) with driver Ahmed were excellent, arrived ahead of time to pick us from the hotel. Mr Sayed went through the plan and explained how the day would be organised, and had a wealth of knowledge when sharing information on the various sites/temples we visited, and always very accommodating & helpful. The tour was great and would definitely recommend Mr Sayed due to his experience and knowledge of the historical sites. Thanks to both Mr Sayed Gamal and Ahmed, would definitely use them again for future tours.

A value for money, Luxor in one day. Highly recommend. - After booking, a month before our trip,i reached out and asked if I could change the order of the sites opting for an early start that saw us at Valley of the Kings as it opened. I received a quick and supportive response. The day before the tour, the company advised who the guide and driver was. The guide, Ahmed, then What's App'd confirming Tamer (the driver) would pick us up first, sent a picture of the car and license plate, and then pick up Ahmed on the way. Tamer was a confident and carefuldriver, we felt very safe. Ahmed was wonderful, he read my husband and I well. Giving us an introduction in the car as we reached the sites, some more upon entering and walking around the sites. Answering our questions when we had them, and then giving us time at each sites to explore on our own. He took pictures for us, which was greatly appreciated. Ahmed offered to take us to Alabaster and cotton stores. And when we said we weren't up to going to cotton, he really didn't mind. In summary, we would happily do another tour with Ahmed. So knowledgeable about the sites, and such a lovely person. We would recommend it. Last note, we took the option of guide and car, and bought our own tickets via the government site. It meant no queues or waiting for ticket purchases. We had them on our phone, which at some sites had trouble reading electronically, but ultimately gorgeous the machines to work.

A well spent day in Luxor! - Our tour to the east and West Bank of Luxor was great and perfectly organised!! Our guide Mena managed to give us all the information needed. We weren’t rushing, we were given free time to explore and take pictures and we also made some stops along the way to take some rest and have a cup of tee and something to eat! Totally worth it !

Mena is the BEST guide! - Mena was the most excellent tour guide. He was so kind and very patient, and he went out of his way to make our private tour tailored to us. He is VERY knowledgeable and such a good story teller. I HIGHLY recommend a private tour with him.

Egypt nerd wanted more. - My tour guide H***** was nice but I felt like I got less than the other tourists around me. He would tell us general things about Egyptian mythology and maybe a little about the tombs or why the general site was chosen for the burials etc, but I saw other guides walking all the way up to each tomb with their customers telling them - for example: “ok inside this is Ramses I, he’s famous for …… you can expect to see etc etc”. Our guide would be sitting back in the shade talking on the phone and we would just walk back to him. At the last temple stop, his favorite he said - which was the most beautiful - there were depictions of a great battle and other things throughout - I wanted to know which battle it was and more about what happened but the info was just “yea this is a big battle” while I stared at hieroglyphs of a chariot - like sure, I could decipher that part alone, tell me more.
