Best activity in Luxor - While the temples in Luxor are amazing, this was probably our favorite event. Authentic, great service, and delicious food! Thank you, Mohammed!

Wonderful cooking experience in Luxor - This is a wonderful cooking experience in Luxor! Mohammed picked us up on the East Bank and we made a chicken tagen and veggie tagen and fried eggplant. The kitchen is next to their spice shop so I was able to buy spices at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this cooking experience.

An excellent experience not to be missed. - This was a great experience from start to finish. We were picked up by Mohammed from our hotel with a motorboat and crossed to the West Bank. Upon arrival we got on his motorbike, all three of us, and scooted off through the streets to pick up final ingredients and some fresh bread. When we arrived at the kitchen he introduced us to the lovely Fatima who helped during the cooking process. We helped to prepare the ingredients, learnt about the herbs and spices used and even got to take home a small tagine from Mohammed. My husband went into the surrounding fields owned by Mohammed and we got to try freshly cut sugarcane - delicious! There was absolutely no pressure to buy any spices etc from the shop, and Mohammed and Fatima were both excellent hosts. If we were staying longer we’d be back again, my husband who is a chef will be putting the recipes learnt on the menu!

Cooking class with family in Luxor - Barry and his team were great. We got a text the night before confirming pick up and plans. We did this cooking class as a family and had a great time. The kitchen is located within the family spice shop. We were given nice welcome drinks and then jumped into cooking. We were educated on the local spices and cooking practices but were never pressured to buy anything. It's not that type of tour. If you are looking for a no fuss first hand view of local life, I would highly recommend this tour. The finished product was so tasty!

Must have to come - It was a very nice experience to be in the store. You can look around and they give good information about the products they sell. You have different types of tea including green tea. Different types of herbs that are good for your organs but also different types of oils. And incense that are really a must have in the house. In addition, they are also very friendly people. You can have a cup of tea and they will teach you how to cook the traditional dishes of Egypt. We also ate there and it was delicious! The store has a beautiful location in Luxor. You can already see many Egyptian monuments on the way to the store but also from the store.

Kitchen told and shared - It is a beautiful immersion, to discover the spices preparation in a family, intimate, and caring place. .. in restaurants the tagines are very good but this one will taste like you will not find elsewhere... and you will discover why. I really recommend this simple and complete experience with the family a mohammed ..c is like receiving the piece of a puzzle that is missing when you continue your trip to Egypt.

Wonderful tour with the best guide, Marwa - We had a really lovely two days being toured by Marwa Fatafeat Elsoker, she was very informative and helpful. The sites were breathtaking and Marwa's explanations were wonderful - can highly recommend her! She showed us around the valleys of the Kings and Queens, the colossi of Memnon, Hatshepsut's temple, the nobles tombs, and the karnak and luxor Temples. It was the perfect addition to our trip.
