Put the temples of Abydos and Dendera on your Egyptian bucket list. - Both sites are must see if you are interested in Egyptian Pharaonic temple sites. And reasonably readily accessible from Luxor.

Two great temples in one day - With an early morning start to avoid the crowds and heat, we visited Dendara with its magnificent painted walls and ceiling, then a further 2 1/2 hour drive to Abydos — another great site not to be missed for those who love Egyptian civilization. The guide was expertly knowledgeable and allowed me to explore at my own pace.

Interesting and efficient - We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was very interesting, and we appreciated the information provided about the temples, followed by free time to explore. Since the tour started early, we were almost alone in the first temple, which was a wonderful experience. Our driver also took alternative routes to minimize travel time.

It was a cozy and... - It was a cozy and pleasant day trip to Denderas and Abydos. Both the driver and the guide were very helpful. The car is spacious, clean and cool. Our guide Ahmed took excellent care of everything. Both in stories and in our photos. In Abydos, we were treated to delicious traditional dishes.

Inolvidable - The experience in Dendara has been unforgettable. The temple is beautiful. The frescoes on the ceilings, the columns, the little corridors... magic. Our guide and the driver have taken us and taken care of everything even with an incident with the plane helped us call and buy tickets. Aladdin and Mohammed have made the.excursion in Dendara and Abydos an unforgettable day.

An amazing tour with Ash !!! - Visiting the Temples at Abydos and Dendera were one of the top highlights of our trip to Egypt (Jan 26-Feb 9, 2025). These temples are amazing and beautifully preserved, but best of all, not many tourists make the effort to go to see them.....it is a 9-10 hour day trip from Luxor...some of it on dusty bumpy roads. Our Guide "Ash" was absolutely excellent (by far the best guide we had on our trip) and explained the details of the temples with interesting stories to go along with it. His English was excellent, his presentation enthusiastic, and he had a great sense of humor too. This a must do tour from Luxor....Thank you to EMO Tours for arranging.

The worst experience in my whole life around the world. - Driver does not speak english. Inside the car around 100 grades hot. From 1 point to others almost 3 hours. No water either. Is recommended do not do a breakfast, you will eat dust a whole day. Dealing with a road called " agriculture road" is a nightmare. Animals, holes, shaking and jumping experience worst than a Hulk Disney Ride. Thanks God we paid to police 10 dollars extra in order to use an expressway. I am a gym person but be ready to fight vs Mike Tyson. Temples are not a big deal comparing with Karnak.
