Long but worth it! - The drive is long, so be ready, but its worth it!! The temples are so beautiful & the guide was great! He made the experience very personal & I would do it again!

Dendera one of the best preserved temples in Egypt ! - 2 beautiful temples and a great tour to see them.
These temples are far and out the way so the only way to see them is with a tour like this.

Sam is a very... - Sam is a very knowledgeable guide. His stories of each temple are very touching. We also learn quite about the Egyptian history and ancient culture. Hightly recommend this tour.

Derdara...A temple not to be missed, with Ahmed, the cutest Guide in Luxor! - The tour included a visit to the temples of Dendara and Abydos, in the end we decided to do only the first for the long distance and our Guide Ahmed perfectly rescheduled the day with excursions to the temple of Habu (for me among the most beautiful in Luxor) and the tombs of the workers, really suggestive and above all colorful... During the return trip from Dandara we made a stop in the town of Qena to see the real life of an Egyptian town where we drank a delicious sugar cane juice. We will also remember the songs, Italian and not, that Ahmed made us hear during the car trip, a very prepared but also nice Guide!

Excellent tour with guide Ebrahim! - We highly enjoyed this tour! First of all, we had a very knowledgeable guide Ebrahim, who gave us a very clear short summary of the history of Ancient Egypt. Then he told us the history of the two temples and showed us every room of the temples. He showed and explained to us every even slightly important titles inside the temples and gave us sufficient time to take the photos. The car and the driver were also well organized and chose the best desert roads for the tour. Overall, the tour exceeded our expectations! Highly recommended. 🤩

Best trip from Luxor - Excellent trip! Highly recommended! Not as crowded as Karnak and Luxor temples and more well preserved. Mr. Ibrahim, a complete gentleman, kind and experienced. You can see his knowledge by the important history data he shares. The driver Khalid was also very kind and helpful. Best car I ride in Egypt. Clean, modern and well preserved Mitsubishi. I wish all the tour guides were as knowledgeable and courteous as Mr. Ibrahim.

Fantastic Temples. - Both temples were highlights. We just had a driver, which was better for us. Had nearly 1.25 hours at Dendera, wished had 1.5 hours as asked for at Abydos. The driver was professional and good.

2 tours in Luxor - We booked 2 tours with Emo Tours. On the first day we visited the archeological sites in the west bank of the nile in luxor. On the second day we visited the temples of Dendera and Abydoss.
We had different drivers on the 2 days, which were lovely and good drivers for egyptian standards.
Ahmed was our guide and he was pleasant enough. However, some of the things he said were in clear contradiction of what we later read about the tour subjects. Those things seemed to have been simply made up by him, perhaps to try to make history sound more appealing. This made us feel cheated, and made it hard to trust him on other things he said. Furthermore, he kept hurrying us to explain what he wanted without giving us any time to grasp the environment of the place. These things made us feel that it might have been better if we had just hired a driver and read about the history online.
Additionally, our tour's vouchers were confusing because even though they said that entry admission to the sites were included in the price we paid, we had to purchase tickets on each of the spots.

Very scary and diappointing - choose another provider - Guide was late arriving, was hard to understand and spent a lot of the time in the car watching a video .... which might not have been so bad if he used headphones. The driver was reckless, driving at speeds up to 140km even after both we and the guide asked him to slow down. And to top it off we had a minor traffic accident when he could not stop in time and collided with the car in front.
