Top tour with young kids - We were with a toddler and a 3-month-old baby. The stroller can be folded. By train you have a tour through the old beautiful Luxembourg, without having to carry the kids with you. Toddler also liked the train very much.

Train Guided Tour - A good option for those who want to know Luxembourg without walking much. The audio-guide is available in several languages and tells an interactive story about the city.

Great trip - Enjoyable trip, fascinating facts. Sadly only 1 of my ear pieces worked. Otherwise the trip was great. Learned lots about Luxembourg.

Nice way to get an impression of the city. - It was a rainy day so we decided to explore the city covered. We bought tickets online, so we knew exactly what time to arrive. The ride is beautiful and the information in Dutch to follow. However, the voice indicated that we could get off and continue a train later but that was not possible because the train did not stop. Understandable because the next one was probably fully booked as well. Highly recommended! It does bump and I also find it less suitable for very small children.

A Perfect Rainy Day Intro to Luxembourg. - The overview of the city was a great start to our very short stay in this fascinating city. It was raining as we arrived, so this looked like a perfect way to stay dry yet get an overview of Luxembourg; this turned out to be correct. The fact that it dropped us off at the entrance to the Bock Casemates was an added bonus; most of the serf-guided tour there was likewise sheltered from the rain. In fairness to those booking this trip, it should be noted that the narration provided (in many languages) is (at least the English version) aimed at young children. It gives good context, but we noticed other travelers chuckling as we did at the character voices & music track. No regrets, however; we were happy for the dry intro to the city.

Overall correct - The explanations are really nice and original but not always synchronized with the places. All in all it's nice even if it's hard to make proper photos if you're in the middle

Disappointing - We don't have enough visibility, we're looking for indications in the audio, we're missing things to see

Uncomfortable ride, inconsiderate driver and ā€˜tour’/commentary were underwhelming! - Misleading times on the signage by the train stop, and on the timetable! This also referred to 2024 dates, when we visited in April 2025, so definitely out of date! This said the last train of the day departed at 3:15pm, which we would have missed. Lucky that we checked at the nearby ticket office, where they confirmed there was a train at 4:30pm. Easy to buy tickets from a representative at the ticket office, these cost €14.50 per adult for a 40-minute trip. Train looked nice and was brightly coloured. Its carriages were cramped in terms of leg room - my knees were pushed against the seats in front for the majority of the train ride, which was uncomfortable. The journey was very bumpy in places due to the cobbled streets/uneven surfaces. You get provided with earphones to plug into an outlet while on the train - this played an audio guide. The information shared as part of this wasn’t very interesting and most of it was forgettable to be honest. There was too much random music being played as part of the audio tour, rather than actual information. At times, the music was too loud to hear the commentary which was a bit frustrating. The most annoying part was when the train finished the ā€˜tour’, the driver turned off the engine which immediately cut the audio guide, which hadn’t finished!! So we paid good money for this but didn’t get to hear the end of the commentary!! The driver didn’t say anything to us or other passengers after the train ride finished - no goodbyes or thank yous or assistance to help customers out of the carriages etc. Just felt like a poor way to treat tourists. The positive from the train ride was that we saw some lovely scenery, however it was misleading for the company to sell this as a ā€œcity tourā€ when it hardly went around any of city. A bit of false advertising really. Going on the train ride kept us out of the rain for a small part of the day, but due to the negative reasons mentioned above, I wouldn’t go on this train again or recommend it to others.
