A modern museum in Luxembourg - It is a very modern museum with super friendly and attentive staff, it is somewhat hidden by the trees but as you approach it is very clear that it is the museum, the exhibitions are super interesting and different to what we are used to, admission is free, they have lockers to leave your things without any cost, everything is super clean and tidy

Very modern, partly abstract art - As the name suggests, the Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean, Mudam for short, showcases modern art. This can sometimes be very abstract, as we could see with the exhibition "A Model". Some works fascinated us greatly, while others did not open up to us. The architecture of the museum is fascinating. The Sunday we visited it, admission was free.

A beautiful discovery in Mudam - The Mudam is a very pleasant museum to visit. The space is well appointed, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the works are highlighted. The exhibitions offer original and interesting art, with a good fluidity in the course. The orientation is easy, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. The welcome is warm. Finally, the value for money is satisfactory. A beautiful discovery that I recommend!

Great architecture. Disappointing collection. - Sadly the museum’s own collection was unavailable to view so the offer was very limited. The building is spectacular and it was worth visiting just to see the architecture. There is a nice cafe with lots of staff who seem to do as little as possible….. the service was pretty hopeless. I asked for a glass of water and was told that it was not possible to serve this to me, despite there being a tap and a glass in front of the staff…. Hi hum.

Mudam Museum Luxembourg review - Nice but a bit poor of explanation of works, we would like to ready more details regarding each opera, sometimes difficult to match explanation with work because far each front the other

A beautiful space lost in confusion - While the building is impressive, with plenty of space for exhibitions, the museum feels like a missed opportunity. The collection appears random, lacking any clear organization or purpose. There’s no defined route to follow, and little information is provided about the works on display. This makes the experience confusing, leaving you wandering from room to room wondering if you’re supposed to “get” something that’s not actually there.

Dismal crisis management! - On the afternoon of Sunday 8 /12/24 around 3:30 pm, we continued our visit in one of the rooms on the floor of the museum, when a shrill sound sound sounded! A minute later, the guards threw us out without any explanation at about 100 meters from the main entrance without being able to take back our coats that we had deposited in luggage and we stayed (about 150/200 people) half an hour in the cold, it was 5°C!,... we were frozen when the guards reopened the main gate to us to return. At the entrance there was total confusion, we received no explanation, no apology, no hot drink, no refund of entrance tickets, briefly treated like dogs!, a shame! On this, we got our coats back at the locker and went home to Belgium and not ready to go back!

To flee - This building is anything but a museum especially of modern art, contemporary works and distressing poverty. Virtually empty rooms and a price of 10€ which is too expensive for what it is. Forget this museum which is not one.
